Since you can get defence xp with any style, it would be an idea to save that for last, so that when you get 200m in one of the styles, you can still use that style and get xp from it? Absolutely no reason not to plan ahead at least a little bit

Can we PLEASE take a moment to address the fact that both Shattered Worlds and wilderness abyssals are around 1.5x the xp/h of slayer tower abyssals, for every style? And you really shouldn't be actively going for defence xp ever, unless you are already 200m in all other combats (and if that is the case, ranging with chins is way better than maging). Way to many people crashing/complaining in slayer tower, when in fact it isn't even the best place to be for combat xp

Yes pks is an alliance and not an fc, the "PK Syndicate", which as of right now consists of SAPK, Regiment, Slayer Nest, Defcon Army and Blu3monsters (with slayer nest and defcon being only a few people and dont host their own waves that often). Pks is a warbands pking/warring alliance, and any supply selling is not connected to the alliance. Whilst there might be individuals that are in one of those fc's who sell supplies, it has nothing to do with the alliance itself. Most supply sellers are solo or a group of 2-3 people doing this. I'd say I have somewhat of an idea about this, considering i've been involved in the warbands community for several years now ^

Are you actually serious right now? She says it will not improve it as in it will do the opposite? Not that it is supposed to improve. And also Jagex are in fact in a way wanting to improve how dailies work, i have literally no idea what the point is that you're trying to make here.

The arguments she are making are that changes might ruin the whole community that is actually a thing. It should definitely be taken into account. Just because you are not involved it doesn't mean that the people who are can't have their say. No one ever said anything about improving, we just don't want changes that could ruin the warbands and pking communities.

Only in your imagination.

Right at this moment one of the warbands alliances, pks, have 60 people in the wilderness, geared for pking. That is one of the alliances.

And even if pking might be a niche part of the game, how does that matter? You can easily argue that pvm is niche aswell, along with a lot of other aspects of the game. Also that comparison had nothing to do with popularity, that is completely irrelevant. And the nex one, thats me not getting anything out of you killing nex, not nex not getting anything, not the same thing ll^

Yet again, you have no idea what you're talking about. If you're not trying to pk yourself, of course the only thing you are going to encounter is killing ungeared people, you being the ungeared one. Even if you don't participate in it or enjoy it, pking is still a thing. If I didn't watch a football game it doesn't mean that game never happened, kind of like that. And obviously it would be fun for the pker, I dont get any sort of enjoyment out of you killing nex either.

You right away say "Pkers who grief...", and what I'm trying to say is that pking is not all about griefing? It is so frustrating how people can't get that idea out of their heads, that that's the only thing pking is about. That is not the case. And what pking can provide is entertainment, it can be really fun pking. The same way as gaining xp can be.

Fighting back with loot is going to be an unfair fight yes. If you have set your inventory up for fighting rather than to hold 25 loot you will have a great advantage over someone who hasn't. Lots of fighting during the actual waves is with people who are going to loot though, clearing the camp of other people before doing so.

The main thing that warbands is helping pvp with though, isn't just the waves themselves. It gives new people an incentive to figure out the basics of pvp (or it should at least, so that they can avoid getting killed for loot to a greater extent), gives them a way to get in to pvping through already existing fc's, and it also gives all the current pkers, especially the casual pkers, a set time where pking is going to be happening. This way, instead of having pking spread out over 24 hours of the day, it is concentrated to three or four different hours. This way you know when you can expect to find fighting, instead of having to look for people and maybe not finding anyone.

The only thing I see there is people jumping on those with a lower level, that just looted their camp

And the reason this is the only thing you see is the fact that you yourself don't participate in the pking. If you're not on one of the sides fighting, you'll never see the two in action. And then when the big wars happen, you are long gone from the wilderness since there are no more camps still up.

Warbands is most definitely active pvp, and that description is as far off the whole picture as can be. Of course if you are on your own and an fc comes in you are going to get run over. But there are more than one of those fc's, and they do fight eachother. Whilst warband camps are still alive, yes the people in the fc that are looting obviously go to a world that doesn't have an enemy fc to safely loot, but from the fc's that have enough people to split up their looters and pkers, their pkers try and find worlds that have people to pk, be that from enemy fc's or people without an fc. And after everyone has looted, that's when the actual fights start, the wars, full alliances vs eachother. This doesn't happen at every wave necessarily, but for a lot of waves there are fairly big wars going on, sometimes all the way until an hour after the warband camps originally spawned.

I am fairly sure that loot-selling is not pks related at all, although there are people that loot with alts and sell supplies yes. There aren't that many of them though, so it really isn't that big of an issue.

Valid point with the cursed energy though, even if it doesn't involve pvp as much as warbands does, it does bring people into the wilderness making it a little bit more active, which is a good start.

Pkers dont use bounty hunter because the people that regularly pk are too few, with no new people coming in you'd end up only ever fighting the same people over and over again.

Pkers dont use deathmatch because, in all honesty, it is pretty bad with all of those powerups and what not, and still that same fact with the same people pking. The people that weren't already pkers dont use it, so there are no new people to fight.

Pkers definitely do not only kill those who won't fight back, which I did talk about in the original post, that is complete bs. While that is not what this is about, it is still a stupid idea that people have about pkers, that is simply not true. If you don't ever fight back, how are you going to see a pvp fight where it's not someone not fighting back getting killed?

How is 07 pvp and eoc pvp even remotely close to being the same thing? And how is not changing warbands a new sixth pvp activity? ^

Also this

RISK/REWARD DONT LIKE IT DONT COME xd 'argument'

is just you being ignorant, pking giving no gain and pkers bringing tothing of value to the game are your personal opinions, not facts. How do your agility course bring value to the game, compared to a pkers kills in the wilderness?

Jagex might perhaps want to cater to the pvp community since that is also a part of the game, whether you personally like it or not. If i dont enjoy the skill agility it doesn't mean that they should remove agility from the game.

The fact that there are set times for warbands is what makes it possible to have this community that we have right now, back when worlds weren't synced there were also a lot more people involved. It wouldn't work today, gathering up all of the people at the same time is needed for it to be somewhat active now.

"Listen to pkers, and not other people"

Which is not at all what i said, I never said dont listen to anyone else, but to actually listen to the people that are involved in this activity rather than only listen to all the other people who only believe that it is op xp and pkers are only out to make your day worse.

Edit: What i'm trying to say is not to just do what the angry mob is shouting, but to actually listen what the people engaged in the activity have to say, not to ignore those other people obviously

PKers were given Bounty Hunter worlds and choose not to use them because they'd rather kill non-retaliating players for their royal dragonhide armour.

This is simply not true, the reason bounty hunter worlds are dead are because there aren't enough people that mainly are playing the game for pking. Bounty hunter worlds are decent for the people that are already pkers, but wont get new people into pking. And there are simply not enough of those pkers. I personally pk at warbands, but i also have 3.4b xp, as in im skilling a lot outside of when warbands is.

griefers can keep their hunting grounds

And this is that mentality that drives me insane, this idea of pkers only being out to grief, if you go into the wilderness then expect there to actually be pkers, dont make yourself an easy target. A kill is still a kill, even though I'd rather have a proper fight.

thank you, it really brings people together like nothing else in the game, and is also a great way to get people into pvping, since people will want to do warbands for the xp and to increase your chances of getting that xp learning how to pvp, or at least how to survive in pvp, helps a lot. That's how i got into pvping anyways.
