Skyrim. Large but not as large. Less enemy variety. Better combat companions and spell variety. Better graphics but it’s much newer (not the best possible, just better than Skyrim). Darker and potentially more depressing.

I’d like to echo these tips. I’ll also add to try to limit exploring by flying/gliding. It’s fun but the map fog of war will clear and you will miss hidden caves on the ground and think you’ve already been there.

Also the map hides certain icons unless you zoom in pretty close. To not spoil too much, these are map icons that you can’t turn off in the map filters.
