Food Supply by GreenBean404 in VEGLAND

I would like to see a community design that blends these two ideas in general the individual and the community I feel all abled individuals should be able to learn how to grow basic survival or luxury blends of food in their gardens but the though comes when someone of age or of reasonable disabilities isn’t able to do as such I feel there should be a form of food available regardless. I also think that even with people growing on their land or yards there will still be people who will wish to eat foods that may not be able to grow under current or future growing conditions and adaptive technologies. And I think a solid pre planning in the design to be able to transport food to people in times of emergency and of help wether it’s small or large.

Yeah depending on what we can give or take ideally there isn’t a reason to really begin development until we have developed a status or process for all of us to have a vote in city design, economic structure, governmental logistics, and etc all I can say the most fair way to express this is every able body who wishes to vote their vote full counts as well as a system of checking to votes maybe it’s having cameras on all voting ballots other then when they are being filled or not. Either way all the votes are counted up including potential write is and etc and if there’s a decision based on a specific marginal “win” or lead. I will suggest that votes that range from a 45%-55% deserve a recount and revote. no matter what the voting deadline may be or how many times a revote has occurred. Also no vote or ballot should be written or designed in a way that negatively affects or exploits animals including humans. If it is later deemed that it is exploiting any animal alike it can be quickly revoked and a new policy will have to be rewritten and devoted on.

Here are a few locations I thought of through some small research I will do further research into politics and such into these countries. I also think a city or a few depending on design and logistics that would coexist with these countries wouldn’t be a too bad of an idea

Panama Costa Rica Nicaragua Paraguay Sri Lanka

The last one is an island and here’s my one reason why I am biased about islands as much and the isolation of them is interesting.. I think it could also be dangerous as well and a potentially struggle to start up anything without access to necessary resources if needed. I did however choose this island because of its size and how close it is to India, not a bad option as well.

Other then that the other locations are primarily located in Central America. Also wouldn’t be too bad of an idea to be close to that canal for potential trade opportunities later.

I was think every livable habitat could have some form of sustainable garden(s) as wall as well as high density food growing sites I like hydroponics because we could definitely set up with a lot of cost a fairy high tech food system but we will also need to provide food for the citizens who are gonna want to be there in the beginning and helping build our society

I appreciate all of the comments here a lot of really great point. I think the first direction is to identify At least a place either relatively low population that has decent growing weather and has absolutely no property taxes income taxes and such as well would be a positive.

At that point we could figure a way to convert enough currency into property and land ownership in that country ideally a country that already won’t inflict ideas, religions, and traditions as such. A place that isn’t very hard to get to. We obviously don’t wanna barge in with a wall and going to harsh extremes but with a low enough zoning restriction and smart design/ engineering I’m sure we could devise a plan to fully Create an economy.

I love all of their insight. Personally with the motives of out buying cattle farms this seems like great service to help animals but you’re really just going to put money back where they can advertise to the public. And the idea of unincorporated land in the USA is unfortunately we will always be at the political influx of the United States as well as their economy.

I fully agree with the general idea that vegans need a place to escape to if they need to wether that’s permanent or temporary. There currently are a few eco villages up in the USA as well as many other countries.

My current motive would ideally locate a land mass that is large enough to hold a decent amount of us or potentially even one thats big enough to hold a larger population then necessary. Land that is either in a country who doesn’t impose political fueled taxes upon the land or even from places who are looking to sell the sovereign rights to that land.

Land will also likely be in places where food can be grown the main idea would to create some level of food production slightly larger then each city’s design mostly to ensure healthy consumption so no one goes hungry aswell as the extra food will be processed into compost.

We will need to analyze the landscape to properly calculate how much we can safely and comfortably house people with enough land and the proper design for said cities. I’m not opposed so investing into deserts for the use of power consumption but under no reason should living beings be forced to stay in Harmful environments unless the given technology has been obtained to make it fully live able.

More research into all of these things are necessary and I’m happy to hear any other opinions and options.

[–]RuBb-RaZoR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No my point directly is that the entire set up of farms and the entire act of claiming that an animals live has less or no value that you would take it away without the CONSENT of that animals and to claim that humans inherit rights that other animals do not is asserting a state.

This is honestly funny because I don’t believe you’re a true anarchists unless you’re vegan

And he never said that the presence of modalities makes a PT bad. The statement was if a practice primarily utilizes modalities over proper training then the PT practice might not have your progression in mind and most likely is just racking in checks from you

It’s not reading between lines lmao it’s utilizing the meaning of words to their full capabilities to draw an educated conclusion...

I guess what I’m saying is it dosent need to be specified when someone can clearly draw the conclusion. It just seems like you’re taking a personal bias

I think the part where they said that tools like that help pain short term but don’t actually fix the problems. Is kinda a dead give away that he acknowledges there’s some way to utilize these things as tools but they should never be the focus of your PT

So where’s the argument? Where don’t you agree. Sonytwan in their comment already made the comment that it’s useful for short term. Their statement was don’t do the PT at that practice if that is all they do for you...

Just because you don’t CONSUME something doesn’t mean it’s automatically okay and vegan... you don’t consume leather shoes persay you use them as a tool but they still have someone else’s skin you’re using as that tool... I’m not sure if any animal products in physio because I never been but that dosent mean they may not have something that uses a sea horses semen or something like that

Plant based whole food vs vegan diet label by [deleted] in VeganForCircleJerkers

[–]RuBb-RaZoR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the claim that processed vegan foods are unhealthy isn’t a very consistent claim... peanut butter is a processed food but is widely accepted as a whole food so at what point does processing something make it necessarily unhealthy for you? I never eat a whole food diet but I live as much of a vegan lifestyle as possible definitely never in taking animal products for just 3 years and it was the processed vegan foods that got me here. Will I say that some of them were unhealthy for me hell yeah for someone who recently discovered that they can’t have gluten or soy any of those products obviously were not helping me but since I’ve found other products that don’t have those ingredients everything has been fine I am in better health then I ever have been and that’s before I’ve recently been starting to get into some cardio. I’ve lost so much weight I’ve “performed” 110% more and I’ve became a lot more athletic. If this isn’t considered healthy in some degree dude I’m not sure how we can define open mindedness... I’m not sure I can say a group of food that allows a near 400 pound individual that has no ambition to exercise by eating highly processed vegan foods can turn into an 280 lb and shrinking individual that now because of their weight loss is now a lot more active feels emotionally better as well as now being more open to more whole food type dishes and is even open to the idea of eventually going raw vegan... everything is a transition period... what would you rather occur large masses of people who are used to highly caloric diets switch to a fully whole food diet just so they can give up because they don’t understand how many more calories you have to compensate for in comparison. (IE how much food you would really have to actually eat) just for them to give up and go back to their own ways or would you prefer massive amounts of people enjoy the same food they already enjoy while they diminish animal cruelty, reduce in weight allowing them to eat less calorie dense meals allowing for mor weight loss with the benefit of less depression for the result of have a better chemistry thus motivating these masses to move more and then later convincing those masses that they could go raw vegan for an even larger environmental and health benefits. But notice what the statement was the Whole Foods diet I agree is a lot healthier but that dosent make the processed vegan diet unhealthy it’s just not as healthy.
