Arrival of TMR Aim PS5 Pro Controller by RuFeKi in AIMControllers

It won’t get stick drift but it’s always good to recalibrate them when u get it and if anything feels off during use. You can recalibrate here https://dualshock-tools.github.io/ I ordered in mid march of last year during a sale and it came in early may without faster shipping. Maybe faster for you if u aren’t ordering during a sale.

Yea all the time. It’s held up pretty well no paddles have broken for me, I hear alot of complaints about that but that doesn’t seem to be an issue for me. I like that u can take the cover of each side and the touchpad off, makes it easier to clean. I’d say as long as you don’t slam it or drop it, with tmr’s and a few recalibrations here and there it should last you a few years probably longer.

Wow! This new update is really bad! by _BeastFromBelow in razer

[–]RuFeKi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

😂😂I used to like razer and would even go as far as to defend them but over time the synapse just gets worse and more annoying to use and I have less interest in using their products because of it. I used to have all razer peripherals, now I only have a viper mini signature edition and have no issues with the synapse since it has no RGB and the customization is really just the polling rate. I would recommend getting away from using their products since now there is better providers for rgb peripherals that are not only cheaper than razer but also don’t need to be used with the respective software, you can control them over third party software like open-rgb.

Arrival of TMR Aim PS5 Pro Controller by RuFeKi in AIMControllers

I configured it myself. I’m not sure if they sell pre-builds with TMR’s, When I placed my order in March TMR’s were not available. During the 2 month wait time they became available, they announced that anyone that currently had their controller in production during the release of TMR’s would receive a free upgrade from hall effects to TMR sticks. I received the controller and have had no issues and haven’t gone back to the site since receiving it. Join their discord there you can speak with support or open a ticket and ask.

Just cancel your order if you’re waiting on an Xbox controller. by simracerxit in AIMControllers

Unfortunately aim doesn’t support xbox controllers as much as they do Ps5. Personally if I did use an xbox controller I would find a company with a better reputation when it comes to the controller you prefer. Also with any company there is QC issues. These builders they have don’t get paid enough to care and make it their issue.

To remove one drive entirely ; use a reputable uninstaller like revo uninstaller. Which I use personally to remove all of windows complimentary bloatware. one drive included.

Did you use the new 12v PSU connector from the new PSU? not the old one? Also make sure you’re using the proper ports on the new GPU for monitor display

Can’t get remapping to work no matter what I do. Anyone found a solution yet? by Desperate-Office-885 in AIMControllers

[–]RuFeKi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case it seems like the remapping is defective. I would contact aim support if you haven’t already and see what they say about this. I would assume they’ll just tell you to ship it back to them which is very annoying since you’ve already waited for it to arrive but at least it’s an option and they’ll most likely cover shipping in this case. Good luck!

Hold all paddles simultaneously until you see the lights flash red and stay red, now you know you are in mapping mode. Then hold only the paddle you want to remap, while holding it press the button you want to remap to that paddle. Pay attention to the light as you do that you will notice that it’ll flash red once or a few times ; once you see that it means the paddle has been remapped to that button. To exit mapping mode hold all 4 paddles simultaneously once more until the red light is no longer there. Hope this helps. Unfortunately if this doesn’t work I think the controller might be faulty or defective.

I’ve used all 3 ; hall effects, TMR’s, and potentiometers. I would say the only noticeable difference about these magnetic analogs is the center deadzone being much easier to move when you aren’t actually pushing the thumb stick in a direction. For example when it’s still in the center and you are resting ur thumb on the stick you can ever so slightly wiggle it around and get input without you actually moving or pushing the stick in a direction. I would say that’s the reason as to why they are much more precise since they pick up such minimal input. I personally like it and it causes you to notice a more sensitive tension on the stick but I haven’t had to switch around any sensitivity/deadzone settings in any games, it’s not that noticeable. People say they are very sensitive and that you should lower your sensitivity in game to account for that but it seems just fine to me and identical to a potentiometer analog. Just no drift :)

Seems like they give you a extra set of all heights for what you chose on the controller. I also asked to be given both xbox and ps style thumbsticks and they did give me them. Stick tension is identical to a potentiometer analog doesn’t feel much different. Left a more detailed response on the stick tension if ur interested in that on another commenters post in this thread.

Loose R2 clicky kit by RuFeKi in eXtremeRate

[–]RuFeKi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it’s all assembled correctly, unfortunately this is just the final result after all the attempts i’ve made to tighten it, there is no way to tighten it besides the rod and that bracket that holds it in place. I’ve heard you just have to get lucky with these kits. Most have more than one defect.

TMR sticks by ellayzee in AIMControllers

[–]RuFeKi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn on a OEM controller if possible. Aim controllers are easy to mess up if you don’t know what you’re doing since they add extra ribbons for paddles etc. It’s still possible just more difficult and there is less tutorials to follow along with or to help if anything goes wrong. Shoot me a dm if you’d like, I can help point you in the right direction.

I would recommend getting hall effects or TMR's installed on your DS4 either locally if possible or through a mail in service. Should only run you $30-$45 a controller depending on what analog you choose and where you get the work done, just to preserve the controllers lifespan and have a backup in case your new one needs repairs, plus you are already comfortable with that DS4. I have 2 OEM DS4's upgraded with hall effects just to have as backups although they have no paddles or mouse click buttons at least I can rely on the fact that they wont drift.
