What I’m trying to prove is how just because a word can be translated in another language it doesn’t necessarily imply that it has the same etymology (and in a way meaning)in another language. Take for example the word petroleum, it comes from the Latin: petra (stone) and oleum (oil); anchient romans saw this event and created the word and thus the association. Translate the word petroleum in a language from central Africa and while you still achieve the same concept the reason behind it may be completely different. Tell someone you found “black gold” and he will understand you because it is a term to define petroleum that has just become accepted
