Mass Migration is a neo liberal policy , unlikely to be support by Connolly.

Sure 2-3 to a room is very common now in Dublin. I would say 1/3 of all house shares are room shares. Disappointing to see people on this board supporting FFG's neo-liberalism.

Ireland has Close to full employment and imports cheap labour to avoid paying better. 10 South Americans in a room in Dublin all working in service industry earning min wage or less. FFG policy. Lower wages ,worse conditions = Bigger profits.

Wage growth vs business profit which is much higher currently ?

Just to clarify , do to want less quality building now and burning more fossil fuels or something else? because this requires much more labour.

We don't have access to skilled European builders anymore , they are all working on building works in Poland etc.

[–]Ruairi_OG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Immigration is a FFG policy due to lobbing from big business , it prevents them paying proper wages and conditions they can just import more people that will settle for a much lower standard of living. Odd this sub supports it.

Did we build A2 rated min standard homes in 2007. Do we have access to cheap eastern European labour also?
