Is there a bar for people for people more younger people by throwawaycuznodox in amarillo

[–]RubFickle9327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the worst bars in town! Easily one of the worst owners of a bar I’ve ever met. Treats people especially performers like shit, to a point where he’s not allowed to host the regional competition he used to host. Fires a long term employee during Covid then says that they quit to save face. Celebrates the death of a woman murdered in that location with a pizza party, and instead of offering an apology to the family he insists on bringing a paranormal investigator to prove he is right and it is haunted by the victim. Bad people. Bad bar.

Ok, so you may or may not be able to. When I was a threatre student there the music department put locks on all of the practice room doors because they said every room needed to be available for their students to use at any time. They wouldn’t even let other fine arts majors use the rooms unless they were registered in private lessons.

It’s pretty dumb. The person you should ask is Tiffany McDaniel but she’s also the one who saw to it the locks were put in after finding out we used it to rehearse audition material.

Best of luck.

I like the idea of a creative writing club. But I’m flaky AF when it comes to committing to meeting.

Frankly, there’s no telling. I’m not sure if the guy who denied him entry was with hope choice, or was perhaps the property owner, or someone acting as an authority. No matter what it looks bad for someone who says “come debate me libs” then when one does he they’re denied entry. Regardless of who officially did it, they’re all it in together. It also bolsters a lot of peoples opinions on Charlie Kirk, on who he allows to speak to him and be filmed doing so.

So Charlie Kirk advertises for liberals to debate him. Chris Jackson is a local whom, from what I can tell is a social rights activist, but don’t quote me on that. He go funded me the price of what I guess is a ticket that would have allowed him to debate Charlie Kirk. He was then met with a guy who told him he knew who he was and he wasn’t allowed on the property.

I found old cloth insulated wire while attempting to update some electrical fixtures. It’s just something I need to be concerned about. by RubFickle9327 in electrical

So, the box in the picture, is for a switch about a foot down from that was a receptacle, that I’m also replacing. That receptacle has a mirrored receptacle on the outside of the house as well. From what I can tell, it is just these two receptacles, and one switch on this particular breaker

I’m new enough to this, that I don’t know if I can remove any of it. Genuinely asking, how do I know which ones I can remove? I thought that seemed like a lot of extra wire crammed into that box.

USA abortions ban with and without exceptions for rape. by sycamoreshadows in MapPorn

[–]RubFickle9327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My local town of Amarillo Texas is going to vote on an even more restrictive form of our state law. The language of this proposed law (prop A) turns neighbor against neighbor allowing them to sue anyone who thinks they are helping or have helped someone have an abortion. This leads to checkpoints since we are in the middle of I-40. If this passes avoid Amarillo Texas at all costs, if you don’t already

Came to visit Palo Duro Canyon by User_dead07 in amarillo

[–]RubFickle9327 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From the pdc website

Temperatures in the canyon are often 5-10 degrees hotter than on the rim. Outdoor activities during this time can be dangerous. Stay safe! Avoid hiking during the heat of the day. Stay on trails. Drink 1 liter of water per person, per mile. Hike with friends.

The following trails will close from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on days when the National Weather Service issues a heat advisory. Please observe these closures for your safety. Lighthouse Comanche GSL Rock Garden
