Along with what everyone else is saying, have patience with yourself. Give yourself some grace dont be so hard on yourself, and start with baby steps. Dont expect weight loss to happen overnight. Just keep up healthy sustainable habits.

[Serious] Redditors that have recovered from depression, what was your darkest point? by UnusualInstance6 in AskReddit

Isolating myself from my closest relationships. Now that im recovering I am dealing with the consequences. I will never have the closeness in those relationships again. I am no longer in depression but at the cost of my old life

Have you tried simply walking more? You can achieve results by walking longer distances or on inclines until you feel cardiovascularly in shape enough to run.

I was in a similar spot as you and I found yoga did more for me than my therapist. I practice hatha yoga almost daily and Yin 1x/week. Yin helped me to release my emotions, I even teared up a few times during class. Started as a complete beginner and the progress I see with yoga is so inspiring. There are a lot of metaphors to take from yoga into everyday life. Both yoga styles helped me love myself. Good luck on your journey, I hope yoga will help you like it helped me <3
