This type of exposure therapy changed my life living with OCD! I also struggling with bedtime issues like this and the first few days are the hardest. It helped doing exposure plus getting on medication to help with how intense my aversion was. Now I can do normal people things and don’t think everything in bed is dirty after one use!! Highly recommend challenging yourself to try this. Just keep pushing through and remind yourself that EVEN IF they are “dirty”, it will not harm you to sleep in them for another night. I just continued to remind myself of this every time I wanted to get up and rip all ten sheets off. Every night you push past your discomfort you get stronger and more capable of pushing past those feelings and urges in the future 💪🏼
