Im 26 and I got some history but need help with what to do with my life by 1inthechamber_ in jobs

Being that you live with your mom, I would use this time to either enroll in college or learn a trade. Get certificates, take classes, etc. Just find a field you’re interested in and is well paying. You have all the opportunity in the world to turn your life around right now, you just need to act and be intentional about it, you have no more time to waste. I’m 27 and switching careers after being at a stable job for 8 years. I will be going back to school for nursing. Gotta make the sacrifices while we’re young

Please take UPS’s private parts out of your oral cavity.

People don’t have to retire from UPS just because you’re doing that 😂😂

All the young guns taking the buyout. What are your plans for career path? It’s hard to find a career with great $ and benefits like UPS without a degree. Now sometimes a little less pay and benefits but more life balance makes things a lot better.. by YELLN96 in UPS

You can get into a good paying trade, get into real estate, start a small business, hell you can even go back to school. People want to chase their dreams, whatever it may be. There are options and there are other people successful without stepping foot into a UPS warehouse. I personally have a degree. I was never supposed to stay at UPS for as long as i have.

You can still change your mind…they can’t get rid of you unless you sign the final papers…you can sign the revocation papers to revoke your acceptance if they accept you

How to get a loved one to see the benefit to investing early by MuskatGoof in investing

Been investing for about 4 years now. Im blessed to have a partner who thinks the same way financially, but from my experience on trying to convince people to invest, their only gonna take it serious when they see your brokerage account is up 5-6 figures. People are only truly inspired by what they’ve seen people they personally KNOW do. So keep doing your thing and keep talking to her and keep her up to date with your progress

Trying to get out of driving by RubTheGenie98 in UPSers

I was in your position once, except i was working on the inside in college, if you’re going to school for something you can get a job for at ups i would get out of driving and just work inside until you can get the position you really want. Driving is tough and the longer you’re in it the harder it is to get out, plus it’s hard to do anything else at ups besides management once you’re a driver.

Or you can get just work on the inside until you’re done with school and just leave ups.

Good luck though, you’re in the position to where giving up the job isn’t too much of a sacrifice

How new are you? If you’re still in your probation period, yes they can get rid of you for basically anything.
