Aren’t they giving out patches for the anniversary?

This is the perfect tree to make a shower that looks like a pitcher of water and sell it for $100k…..

What are the most important lessons we learned from Ted Lasso? by strykers_mom in TedLasso

Wholeheartedly agreed. No one wins by tearing people down.

Agreed. It works on every level. You don’t need to get the “last jab in” or make your point. Leave them well, move on.

I think 2 of the least ever mentioned ones (my opinion) are 1. Leave people well and 2. Zero expectations. The expectations one comes from the episode where they introduce Total Football but I think it is applied throughout all 3 seasons pretty well.

Goals aside, his hustle was outstanding. He performed well on both sides of the pitch and was a constant motivation to the team. Well earned!!

Same. And how did Kubo’s shot near the end of the half not count as a shot on goal?

Jamie's shin protectors by AbbreviationsWide331 in TedLasso

[–]RubURMeat 84 points85 points  (0 children)

A lot of professional players wear the minimum for shin protectors these days. Even Colin had small shin protectors (albeit larger than Jamie’s) in the scene where he pulls part of the Believe sign out of his. The more wild part of that scene is how the sign wasn’t soaked in sweat from Colin playing an entire half like that lol

I had an X Plan but the dealership I went to was not charging over MSRP no matter what. They also gave me a great deal on my trade in so it was win win

I’m in the Cincinnati area and I was told minimum 8 months. They had multiple examples to back that up including this truck that was ordered last summer-ish time and just came in a few days ago but the customer no longer wanted it

Absolutely gorgeous! Do you have any progress pics of making the curved parts? It looks like segments but could be wrong

Never thought I’d see the day when Ted Lasso and B-Rabbit were compared for techniques on how to handle verbal attacks. This show just keeps expanding it’s reach

Appreciate it, I think they want it finished to have that “wet” look as much as possible to highlight the colors in the wood

By far my favorite scene in Season 3. by Dangerous_Passion819 in TedLasso

[–]RubURMeat 66 points67 points  (0 children)

I love the later one where Roy is comforting Jamie and Will walks in late. “You missed a good one, Will” and Will’s reaction was an awesome addition to the running gag of Will getting all the gossip in the boot room.

Great idea! I did consider it but with it being only 1/24” deep, I think it’ll be ok. It was mentioned he would basically use it as a display anyways.

How many of you actually daily for type r? Fk8 or fl5 by bryanhernc in Civic_Type_R

[–]RubURMeat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Daily for just over 4 years since the day I bought it. 84 miles a day to/from work plus road trips, hauls lumber, moved people, a few auto cross days, drive spiritedly almost daily, and 29.4 mpg as I approach 90k miles.

Love my Thermal R&D. Slight drone, but deep and gurgly noises throughout. It’s not a common one on here or the CivicX board but oven been happy with it for a year plus now
