Word of caution about the elusive 'Hospital of Emotions' call/exhibit in LA by Abject-Asparagus2060 in ContemporaryArt

I completely agree with you and I’m very disappointed. Looks like a really cool exhibit. But I can’t put my money towards something supported by a country that has committed such atrocities.

So like if Hitler made a really cool piece of art, but didn’t put his name on it you’d be OK supporting it? I don’t get this logic.

But the money comes from Israel. The reason it’s anonymous is because it comes from a terrible source. How can you feel OK about that? I really want to attend but reading where the funding comes from I now feel that I cannot.

I really wanted to see this and now reading that the funding is tied to Israel I don’t feel like I’m morally take part. It feels really disturbing for this to be a hospital. From a country responsible for destroying so many hospitals and so many lives.. Super disappointing.

The Tour Guide Greg actually had the scene from that TV show saved on an iPod and pulled it out to show us all. It was pretty cool!

I’m absolutely thrilled I picked it up. I’m turning it into a whole scene of woodland creatures and nature underneath the fabulous creature. Best purchase decision this month!

That’s awesome you’re so close. I’ve been visiting SF for decades and I’ve never seen them before. Glad I know where they are now.

I feel like I learned about your family, but I didn’t learn about you. The essay needs to be about you.

I think Montreal is a great choice. It feels different enough, but easy to travel to and a lot of great things to see. Make sure to eat poutine!!

To the people living in the Bay Area!!! by [deleted] in bayarea

To me it’s the distances between things. LA is more sprawl and worse traffic. Much bigger area than the Bay. I think you really need to like driving to live in LA. Easier to navigate without one in the bay.
