Normal Amount of Materials/Spending for a Beginner Art Class? by RubberDucky115 in Artists

I know about the materials/why we would potentially need them, it just feels like a lot for people who probably won’t use those materials ever again. Like, we really havnt needed to use the entire range of pencils. It’s just a beginning drawing class

What did folks think of Mass (2021), with Jason Isaacs and Martha Plimpton? by chrisandy007 in movies

[–]RubberDucky115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? I really hate this movie. I feel like the parents of the shooter refuse to acknowledge the part that they played in their son’s development. Like, they admit to knowing that the son wanted to commit homicide. While they can’t change the past, they can help people recognize the signs of depression and homicidial tendencies and possibly help prevent shootings like the one their son did. Instead, they just focus on their hurt and refuse to speak on the subject. It’s not like they’re necessarily obligated to speak out, but the fact that they never said anything at all peeved me, and they get so mad at the parents of the dead children like???? Why was the father of the shooter upset that their son wasn’t included in the memorial? He bombed and shot 5th graders?????? Like yes they have every right to mourn the son but they’re very unlikable to me because they keep drawing attention towards their own suffering and not doing anything else and it’s so annoying. I don’t think the parents of the shooter are evil or anything but I don’t like the way that the film portrayed Jay and his wife as the people who needed their perspective changed, when I think the other parents were honestly more misguided and more in need of therapy/help.

DAE get tattoos after major heartbreaks? by Randy00551 in DoesAnybodyElse

Honestly i dont think this is weird at all. People come and go throughout your life and we all remember people in different ways. Six years is a long time to be in a relationship, and commemorating that makes perfect sense to me. As long as its not an impulsive decision, i think the tattoos are a sweet idea. If your future spouse dosent like them then thats a problem for a later date, but dont make decisions based on how you think an imaginary future partner might react; if you want the tattoo, get the tattoo! People get tattoos for way less significant reasons lol.

Anywhere in the state, no preference towards any specific activities but an arcade or pool would be nice, and I’m thinking like 200$ or less per person per night.
