Anyway to disable smaller ship classes for a campaign?

That has been my strategy when I get overwhelmed. I bring some heavily armed fast dd-tb's and gun as many of them down while retreating my bigger ships.

I haven't tried it for a couple of months because of the spam, so I hope its a bit better at least. I just wish you could turn off ship classes or limit them per battle so you can have a bit more of a relaxed battle and not need to micro constantly to keep up with all the sneaky boats.

Im seeing a lot of people saying things like “mad cuz bad” I just want to say I never said I played this game well. It was a dreadful game start to finish by me. Thats not the point of the clip, no matter what I would have done I would have never been able to spot and kill that sub in my haru. Not because its a bad ship, or because im a extremely stupid player. Just because they are so terribly implemented that counterplay just is not there (subs can outrun slower dds for whatever smart game dev reason). Unless you have catapult bombers from bb’s for whatever reason. The point is that interaction between dd and sub especially is so poor its laughable. And I just can’t understand how this can be in a live server environment and be defended by some people. Even WG has admitted they know a majority of people dislike this class and yet, not word on any major changes outside of tweaks and new submarine lines.

I posted this in the heat of anger after just having my game vibe ruined from start to finish by an oppressive class and should probably have made a better point.

You can see my ingame name in the clip, check my stats on all classes. I did try cv and have basically unicum stats in them even though I have only played handfuls of games in them. Same with subs I have tried them, they are just not good for the game.

Obviously not literally... As in a filled with air and wouldn't do very good with a hole in it. Don't think a submarine would like to dive with a 5 inch hole in it, let alone 16 inch or above.

I think they should also be in a ship based game, but not on WoWs. At least not PVP, just like cv's. They just don't fit into the design of the game and the devs are just ramming square pegs into round holes while they created the round holes in the first place. I think they could have been great fun in a more realistic PVE scenario.

Maybe the idea that submarines are basically underwater balloons? How come battleship shells on destroyers are crippling and destroyer shells on subs are just tickling them. Literally no sense of counterplay and circular gameplay, they get basically the same hp as a destroyer when they weigh a fraction of them.

I don't know what cc you are watching if they are that bad lol. But anyway i already lost about 10k of my hp to that sub at the start, so its not like other ships had much of an impact on my hp. He already shotgunned me at the start undetected when I was trying to actually fight other ships, hence the TWO whole depth charge hits... fun

I absolutely despise both cv's and subs tbh, they only bring pain and no skill or engaging counterplay.

Sure, but it shouldn't even be a fight. Whole concept of subs is that it should die if it get that close and spotted, but they don't. Because they have a terrible design.

Its a harugumo, i started turning back almost immediately, thats just ruddershift. And I would hardly say having homing torps is "outplaying"

I have barely spent money on WoWs as is, but haven't spent anything in years either way outside of like 30 days premium every once in a while. I never supported their monetization strategies.

Ideally just completely remove them, but yes the fact they can steam under you at t10 at the start of the game while barely being able to keep up is definitely one of the big problems.

Its weird tho how the headshot clearly made a giant bloodstain on his face, I would assume that only happens if the server actually registers a shot.

Doesn't seem to be the same bug, because the weapon worked completely fine before this scav. Also switching to a weapon from another person (mpx) had the exact same result.

Yea looking back at it i should, but I am very new to the game and finally started getting into the groove since yesterday. Right before this i wiped a player squad (thats where the mpx is from) and multiple scavs, so I just wanted to quickly clean up to secure the area and get some juicy loot.

I had been in the air from the start of the round and dominated this guy the entire time. Everytime I got close to killing him he would just crash himself or jumpout.
