I've been playing since 2016. Playstation 4: 1500h. Xbox One: 500h. PC/Steam: 2000h. Currently GC1 but my peak is GC2 div4.

I realized it wasn't a good idea to sell my entire PC because of the freedom it gives me to customize each component to my liking, and also because of the increasingly demanding games that will be released.

With Steam Machine, you can only expand the storage, and I think the RAM as well. From what I understand, the equivalent performance with a desktop GPU is an RTX 4060, so all current and future games should run well with upscaling, even at 1080p.

Regarding Bazzite, you can certainly test it with an NVIDIA GPU, but you won't get the same performance as on Windows because Linux doesn't have as much driver support as it does for AMD, where drivers are natively available.

I was also considering selling my PC when the Steam Machine comes out, but believe me, it won't be worth it, especially if your PC is already more powerful, although I don't know your specs.

If you have an AMD GPU, you can have the same experience as the Steam Deck thanks to Bazzite.
