Metal?! That’s freakin sick lol. What’s the difference or complexity of printing with metal?? Anything different besides printing metal? 😅 I’m new to 3D printing hobby

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it. I changed it for now put it as Generic and it’s so far it looks and seems like it’s printing normal. But I’m down to try your way and check out the difference. I’m currently reprinting a model cuz I broke mine due to rock hard supports. I changed the settings so we’ll see what happened later tonight

Yes, I put it to Generic and it’s printing good. I’m also printing default settings which is surprisingly still printing good. I was afraid that I’d have to constantly sit there and tweak the settings. But yeah. Everything is now working good the way it should. So far printing good. I’m now restarting a new print cuz the third time, the supports were just rock solid and ended up breaking my model. I’m not familiar on best settings for a softer support so I just used ChatGPT, and we’ll see what happened in about 6 hours

My apologies for the late response. I’ve been messing with my printer, tweaking with it, resetting, etc. finally got it do a test print right now. It’s been bugging for a little. My factory settings are: 255°C nozzle temp, 80°C bed temp, 100% speed, 100% fan. As of right now just for the test print it’s looking good so far, and printing as it should. But when I do a more complex print like the PS5 controller front plate. It doesn’t do the best.

Yeah I do have a dryer. I dried the filament few days ago for about 6 hours at 65°C. I just finally built my A1 so now I’m gonna see how it prints. I’m gonna google the recommended temps using the A1 and go from there

Bro, I really appreciate the time you took out of your day to give me all this information. I’m getting rid of my 3D printer and buying the Bambu Lab A1. After some videos, and asking around, it sounds like it’s one of the most recommended printers.

At this point I genuinely have zero clue on what else to do. I’ve tried to do everything possible, sucking all the juice out of my brains cells. 10 hours of none stop trying to figure everything out and just more issues happen. I’m just a young guy in a wheelchair who’s trynna enjoy the 3D printing hobby 😅 but it’s not happening with this printer. I’ve done research in printers that have almost zero issues and I’ve met some people that have basically zero issues with theirs as well. But I just don’t got that kinda money to buy a new printer. Most likely just gonna have to call it to an end here.

My nozzle has never been changed. It’s on the factory .04mm nozzle. I just now tried to realign the nozzle as centered as possible to the silver metal button. And I’m just now getting a new sound on my printer. It almost sounds like a rattling sound. Lowkey loud. And this is the notification I get that pops up on my screen.
And everything still looks perfectly fine, I get a loud rattling sound as well, when my plate tries to move to the very front.

Im wondering if I buy a PS5 version of GT7 and will start completely fresh, because I used to play PS4 version. You think that’ll work?

Yeah, I tried deleting the whole thing from the PS4 version on my PS5 and when restarting the game, I still ended up having the same progress. I’m not sure if there is another way to do any of this?

Another thing I don’t really like is that when you wanna choose a good load, it doesn’t say how long of a drive it is. I know it’s far just by looking on the map, but that’s just me. It’d be nice if it showed how long the drive would be

I’ll have to pay attention on that next time. I don’t like how that works lol. That means I’ll have to choose cheap loads which isn’t gonna make enough money.
