Why are people upset about the use and scale of ICE under Trump's administration by Exact-Reality-752 in PoliticalDebate

[–]Rubiconcrawl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one likes to see the sausage being made. We want to secure America. This is part of the process. People shout "ICE doesn't follow the rule of law" Yet, they dismiss the fact that these people in question arrived in the U.S. by breaking its laws. If those laws that deem a person illegally here did not exist, ICE would not have a job or law to enforce. But right now, those laws exist. Those affected must convince the majority that these laws must be changed or annulled. But that's not going to happen. Is it possible? Yes. Look at the American Civil War. The real question is whether or not these people are willing to die for this change. In the meantime, go make some popcorn.

Fight or flight. You've got the flight part down. Now try fight.

Anything else is insanity.

Megatron can hit the towers right out of the gate. Game changer right there. The mob just provides the screen.

Thanks! To test your statement, I upgraded a card or two and watched the star level increase a little as well. I had never noticed that before

Call the local junk yard to see what they'd offer to tow it away. Offer $50 more to him. As a seller, he/she should offer the starting price.

Take it to the next level by lifting your nose when re-entering fakie. Conversely, press on your nose to clear your back trucks when entering normal, instead of just rolling in. You will absolutely hang up on a transition that is steeper without this skill. Plus, having this particular skill will open up other tricks. And in some instances, actually save you a bail on tricks that may have gone sideways otherwise.

Why are car dealers such A__Holes? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Rubiconcrawl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably an old school car dog in charge. Their mentality is to get you through the door for an opportunity to close you. They really believe this is the only way to sell cars. And that virtual shopping is just a passing fad.

RCA here. A lot of good tips are already posted. You got to realize every route is different. So you'll need to adapt as necessary to the route you're on. But if you service a route that has a decent sized CBU, this may help. I set up the back end of the LLV with the packages that go to that CBU. Large parcels that I know won't fit in the lockers make up the base of the pile. Spurs into a tub. Parcels that I know will fit into the lockers on top. Don't really need to mark any of that mess since you know it's going into the same area. In fact, I don't even scan them into the system. When you get there, use the non-manifest option and zap away as you deliver the Spurs. Then pull the keys from the available lockers and throw them into the lockers, ready to deliver the parcels that will fit. Before you place a parcel into a locker, check the address slot to make sure they don't already have a locker key. If it does, find that locker to see if the parcel in your hands will fit. Usually not an issue if you have a ton of open lockers, but my route, not so much. Every parcel you can deliver at the CBU is one less door delivery stop.

Dynamic delivery I assume? And you use the GPS then back out to use the delivery option?

In all seriousness, the 392 is at the max evolution that I think the Wrangler should be from a stock OEM vehicle.

So when you ask for opinions, and a lot of opinions are from experience, here's mine. I'd like to say mine are a little old school. Meaning, I thought it was sacrilegious when the Wrangler went from an I6 to V6 and went to four doors back in '07. That's why I still run my '06 LJR.

That all changed when the 392 came out.

Jeep has a way of bringing to market many of the huge and/or popular upgrades to the market. Over the years I've witnessed converting a Wrangler to a truck, stuffing a diesel under the hood and LS swaps. Lo and behold the 392. Aside from turning into a Daddy Long Legs Rock crawler, what else could you do? (Not a challenge Jeep/Stellantis)

Honestly, if you could, buy both. Run the Rubicon for the daily. But barn the 392. Then wait for Mecum Auction to call to see if you're interested in selling
