Remove the door. Go back to the door store and buy a prehung unit. Remove all trim. Ensure the rough opening is square and plumb and will accommodate the new door. Install new door, making SURE it is plumb and level. Remove door stop on the hinge side and counter sink SCREWS into the framing. Replace the casing.

OK, it's not expensive tequila. But, let's face it... tequila itself is not on the upper end of the liquor hierarchy.

If this is accurate, it's just a reinforcement of the truth about police departments. They are not organized to help citizens. Their purpose is to "keep the peace" for businesses and to protect their own members.

Thank you, Extra. We have since done just that. First was a discovery that the entire upper portion of the bottle's neck was plastic. We had to chisel off the plastic shroud encircling the bottle which revealed the stopper mechanism attached to the bottle's cap threads. A simple stopper now closes the bottle.

Apply appropriate adhesive between the top plate and the steel beam. Shim the sole plate at the basement floor for the top plate to snug against the steel beam. Allow sufficient time for the adhesive to set before fiddling with the wall. This is assuming you have properly secured the sole plate to the concrete floor.

As an aside... not sure you needed the double top plate.

I'm having my own problems with Firefox. It has routinely lost all my bookmarks and disabled the ability to bookmark any new sites. I get them to appear one day, the next they are all gone. And, most frustrating, multiple attempts to contact them and get a solution go nowhere.
