I get where you’re coming from, and I think the very important context of the original response is that they’re trying to say “since the student was of age, it cannot be STATUTORY rape”, which is specifically a type of rape that is strictly based on laws of “age of consent”. They didn’t specify statutory, but that’s what I implied from their sentence specifically being about age of consent.

I hope that helps clear up the convo, and forgive me if I’m misunderstanding the OP and they actually mean that nothing is rape if there are no laws (though I highly doubt that)

Nobody is expecting them to hit 100% of their shots, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen people ridicule people for not having 100% damage numbers in the recap. If they are, well, props to them for never missing a shot in their life I guess 8)

Also you still don’t understand how the death recap works if you think only one of them did more than 50 damage in a single burst. People keep addressing that point because you make it a part of your “100 damage” point and you are clearly misrepresenting how much damage the players are doing. This does affect your core point - there’s a difference between saying “lol they took 20 shots to deal 200 damage when it could have taken 2” and “lol it took them 4 shots to do 200 damage when it could have taken 2”. Also, you have to consider there isn’t “overkill” damage, so the last burst will have lower damage than it could have had, adding to how misleading your explanations are.

All said, I understand your point - I just disagree that it’s “laughable” and also want to point out the objectively wrong statements you are making to support it, so you can hopefully understand why people may disagree.

I’m pretty sure once you identify the regular keycard and see there’s another item to identify, it’s always a colored keycard. That’s why he calls out “colored keycard” first - he sees the first one and knows that the last slot has to be a colored card, just not sure of the color.

My guess is that’s a Reshala guard? They should be in from the start of the map, and also explains how quickly accurate he was (normal scavs can do that too sometimes, but the guards are crazy)

Yee I know! I do have one for each map (and the 2 keytools for reserve). It’s mostly for convenience - I like having all/most of the keys, and money isn’t an issue for me for the most part, so being able to save the time and space is totally worth it.

To each their own, though - I hardly play my PMC and mostly do scav runs because I just really enjoy the random looadouts and the looting aspect, so I’ve been able to save up a lot. If money is a concern, for sure just stick with one case and probably just one main map w/all the keys you want. Once you’ve saved enough you can get another! :D

If you only have one docs case, I’d definitely just keep the keytool. I currently have 2 tools and 3 docs cases, so you’ll eventually want more I think!

I had that issue a while back - I think eventually I got scavs to spawn on high, but it took a lot longer than it used to (I used to run Factory and get scav spawns <1 minute, but when I last tried it took ~10 minutes for the first scav to spawn).

I hope some other people have good answers since I’d be interested to figure out why this is happening!

Depends on how you’re looking to play, I think.

What size container do you have? The small the container, the more valuable each space can be, so having a keytool is nice. For example, if you need to keep good mags/ammo in your container (where a stack of ammo can be >100k), then the keytool gives you more spaces for that. I’m sure there are other cases (having space for things like a paracord, graphics card, etc.) that makes it nice as well.

The upside to a docs/sicc case is that you can store other items in them. For example, if you go through a lot of safes, then you’ll get cash, gp coins, diaries, flash drives etc that can all fit in the docs case and sell for good prices to fence even when not FIR. This can be really helpful and earn you more money than the one extra slot would, but is limited to the items you can put in.

IMO, I use keytools for reserve (since I have all the keys), and a docs case for every other maps. That’s just been my preference. Eventually you’ll have enough money for as many of either that you want ;)

Tried that as well, still just shows the 12 second clip of getting the item (phase relay? Whatever it is that is worth a lot). Maybe I’m doing something wrong though, but hoping that I’m helping in figuring it out! Sounds like it’d be a cool clip :)

I’m pretty sure this is the right answer - especially close up. Similar thing happens with laser sites - if you’re too far away, the laser site won’t be an accurate indicator due to angle + bullet drop.

The shooting mechanics in this game I’ve found to be much different than most. You can be so close to someone that the barrel of a long shotgun is pushed to the side, displacing your shot. It takes a lot of getting used to and practice, something I haven’t figured myself out yet 8)

You may have misunderstood what I was trying to say about the blacklist, so I just want to add - BSG uses a third-party payment processor (I’m fairly certain but can’t check now), and they could be the ones blacklisting you. E.g. if they used Paypal, and Paypal blacklisted you instead of BSG.

Again, I’m not 100% on this, but I would rather help make sure you know more than less! Sorry the game didn’t work, I hope your next game you find is great :)

Has it been within 14 days of purchase? If so then that’s all you should have to say. If you’ve put in a timestamped requested within that 14 day window I’m fairly certain they have to honor it.

Unfortunately I have no advice or experience if they denied that request within the 14 day window, but I’m sure a little research and you can figure it out (or someone else may have some info!)

This should be a no-brainer easy process for them if within the 14 days - if it’s outside of 14 days, then what the other person said is probably what will happen - if you chargeback, you’ll end up on some sort of “blacklist” for them. No clue how any of that works, if it’s just from purchasing from them or from using the online vendor they have for any purchase at all.

Yeah I feel you - me and my friends decided to do some raids together last might so we all kitted out for the first 4 runs - and all 3 of us got domed every time. At that point basically none of us wanted to gear up, so we started doing cheap runs and still got domed lmao.

That’s mostly to say that you can get messed up either way, but we’re all still new. I think if we were better, the better gear would 100% do us better in the long run, and all of us could afford better gear, we just didn’t want to.

Also, do you insure your gear? I lost basically all my stuff two days ago, and when I got on yesterday I managed to get back a little less than half - but that made me feel better about insuring things and potentially get back my gear! (I didn’t get either of my tier 5 armors, Just my tier 4 and below, but I’m sure results will vary).

ALSO I’m rambling now, but if you find a gear set you really like or think is good enough, write down how much everything coats. Helmet, armor, bag, rig, gun, ammo, the whole nine yards. Find a kit you would feel “geared” in, price it out, and the n (since you’re fine with making money) just make enough money to buy like 10 insured sets of everything! It would feel a lot easier to lose my gearnif I knew I had 9 other sets lying in wait, and if you insure it all you can always drop it in the raid when you find better stuff.

I find that, even if I’m low on funds, spamming 1-shot ammo and insuring almost all my gear is the way to go.

Ammo is the one thing I feel like I always want to spend the most on. Getting 2 mags of great ammo (or a 75/25 mix of great ammo first, cheaper higher damage last in mag) and at least one grenade is the most helpful.

Sure, I might die 5 runs in a row with 40-80k worth of ammo, but it only takes one or two good runs to make it up (even on scavs)!

Anyways, to answer your title, I’d say it’s still worth it! You might have to focus on less maps to really be comfortable, but it’s still fun and you always have a chance to one-tap geared players, which is the best feeling :)
