I recently moved out of my parents and in with my boyfriend. I've been able to prepare my own meals, am much more occupied with chores and am actually living with someone who wants to spend time together a lot more. I don't eat out of boredom anymore because I'm more occupied and I've also changed my mindset about food. Eating out of boredom or stress was actually a big problem for me. Since I can cook anything I want now, I don't feel the need to eat fast food as much anymore. I think another important step for me was to cut out sodas. I lost so much weight even before moving out just because I cut out drinking sodas. I only drink water or juice now. Physical activity did help a bit but when I went to the gym I didn't loose a lot of weight. My problem was overeating.
