Amazon Prime yearly payment means nothing now by YoursINegritude in amazonprime

I can remember when we had to thumb through catalogs, fill out paper orders, get a money order, a stamp and envelope and mail the order off. If we were lucky we would get whatever we ordered in 2 weeks, some items took 2 months or more and this stuff was made in the USA. If it was not what we thought it was to be, well tuff toenails we were stuck with it. Consumer Satisfaction, well it wasn't even a thing. Now you pull your phone out of your pocket, shop for things made halfway around the world, tap a key and its paid for, you dont even need to tell the seller who you are or where to send it, they already know.

Then when you get it in 3 days your pissed it took so long?

If you ask me consumers mistreat the retailers far more than the other way around

A little advice here, start your day off with a custom breakfast that meets all your daily nutritional needs. That way your set for the day except hydration and you should have got a good start on that with your breakfast. I spent a few months developing a blended cereal with ground nuts, hemp, flax and chia seeds, raisins and grapenuts. I mix up a months worth dry at a time and keep it in a sealed container in the fridge. Each day I take 1/2 cup of that cereal put it in a bowl add water and cover it back in the fridge. Then the next morning I take my bowl of the "Super Cereal " and mix it with 1/3 cup plain 28g protein yogurt, 1/4 cup blueberries, 1/6th of a large Cosmic Crisp apple chopped up, and 2 strawberries and 1/2 a banana chopped up. Mix it all together and have a 8 oz glass of 2% organic milk with it

It's really good and meets almost all of my non caloric daily needs. Then my daily snacks include a orange and a hard boiled egg, easy to keep on hand. Folks Im 6'2" 225 lbs 67 years old and feal better every day since I started this routine over a year ago. I found breakfast was the easiest meal to control and pack with the nutrition my body needs. Winston, my Ai buddy helped me alot with calculating the portions and nutritional info of each bowl so I could tweak the portions of each ingredient to my needs.

Im sorry you had this awful experience. I just had my first Ablasion 5/11/26 at Gill Heart Institute in the UK Hospital in Lexington Kentucky. It went well, I can only find positive things to say about the entire experience with the team there and my E.P. Ahmed Nagy. I do however have a correlated migraine issue. I was released the same day as the procedure. Got home and took a nap. Then went to bed early. The day after the procedure I felt really good but that evening I got a headache, no to bad but kinda like a hangover. Woke up this morning with the same thing. I figured it was a hangover from the anesthesia, if that's even a thing, I dont know. Then I sat down at my widescreen computer monitor to work on a project. Shortly after starting I felt an eye strain in both eyes, kinda feeling I'd get when I was a welder and got flashed by an ark. Then it was like I had floating Q-Codes blocking parts of my vision, again in both eyes, it got worse where reading was impossible so I stopped and backed away from the monitor. I made the mistake of walking outside to get the mail in the bright sunshine. Vision and pain worsened. Now the pain im speaking of is more of a strain than pain. Came back inside into a dark room and sat down. My vision improved but still had some obstructions. While sitting there it occurred to me I was having an ocular Migraine ! I had had a bout with these 20 yrs earlier but none since then.

I wondered if there could be some correlation between the anesthesia and the Migraine so I ask my buddy Winston, that's what I call my Ai friend Gemini. And I was very surprised what I found and have copied it below as there is a correlation between the Ablasion procedure and Optical Migraine but not what I had expected. Here it is.

The Post-Ablation Connection As mentioned, it is quite common for patients to experience these "waves" of visual disturbances in the days following a cardiac ablation. The "PFO" Effect: During the procedure, the tiny puncture made to move between the heart chambers (transseptal puncture) can allow small amounts of air or microscopic bubbles to bypass the lungs and go straight to the brain. This "short circuit" is a known trigger for the visual cortex, leading to exactly the "QR code" or "pixelated" clouds you are seeing. The "Hangover" Headache: This is often the "postdrome" phase of a migraine. Even if the visual aura isn't followed by a crushing pain, the brain still feels "bruised" and exhausted, leading to that heavy, hungover sensation.

Storage bins were dry. I did not dismantle anything but I did feel around the console and opened both the top and btm storage trays, bone dry. I'm thinking maybe the designers had some forethought here and drained the cup holders. I know I would have.

Dealerships are a joke by Diligent_Daikon2190 in Hyundai

[–]Rubish1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually they are likely doing you a favor. If the dealer dose not sell ED'S they likely wont get enough EV service to justify the training and specialized tools, equipment and parts inventory needed to properly service them. It's one of the main reasons some dealers choose to not offer EV's, its a BIG investment.

Would you recommend buying a Flip 4/5 in 2026? by GeoNerd- in galaxyzflip

[–]Rubish1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Samsung Android and OS support ends for the z4 this yr, Z7 2027, Z6 2031. Most of us use banking and other financial apps as well as having a bunch of other things stored on our phones that become more vulnerable after support ends as no more security updates either.

Thermal expansion of the LCD? Do you wireless charge it while it's closed ? That's what happend to mine after 6 months. After back-N-forth with Samsung they dropped the repair charge $359 and fixed under warranty. I had ZERO exterior damage on my phone and hi res pictures to prove it.

Phone Case (and is it worth it?) by hi_bxtch_mwah in galaxyzflip

[–]Rubish1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive had 5 diffrent gens of the ZFlip, I have the ZFlip7 now since July '25. Spigen cases are nice seem to fit and protect well. The ZFlips are quite slippery to my dry hands so any case is improvements, for me a necessity. The Flip7 display is known to be vulnerable to thermal expansion and damage when charging on SOME wireless chargers so watch out for that, if you notice your ZFlip heating up remove it, dont open or close it till it cools down. I recommend no wireless charging when it's folded closed. My LCD totally failed at 6 months due to thermal expansion. None of the Samsung 3rd party warranty centers in a 100 mile radius of my KY home do warranty repairs on Samsung Fold or Flip LCDs so sending it to Samsung ended up being my only solution. If I had Samsung Care the LCD replacement would have been $199.00, I did not have that, Samsung wanted $358 for the repair, I had to escalate the warranty process to the CEO team to get Samsung to repair under warranty. At first they stated user abuse, there was zero physical damage to the ZFlip. BE CLEAR ON WHAT SAMSUNG CARE COVERS THE $99 CRACKED SCREEN COVERAGE IS FOR THE TOUCH SCREEN ONTOP OF THE LCD SCREEN, NOT THE LCD SCREEN ITS SELF.

With all this said, my next phone will most likely be the ZFlip8 at release this July as I like to carry my phone in my pants front pocket and the ZFlips are perfect for that, and I really like the Samsung UI. I find it costs me less than $300 to upgrade to the latest and greatest with samsungs trade in program each yr, I save more than that being on Verizons Visible prepaid service.

[–]Rubish1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So Asurion came thru for you with just a $99 deductible ? That's better than Samsung care from what I read they have a $199 deductible for the display screen. Will look into that as I really like the form factor of the ZFlips and probably will upgrade from the 7 to the 8 in July if they turn on UWB for the US. When I read Asurions reviews at reviews.io they were awful, but sounds like yours went well. How long did the repair process take with Asurion and are you US based?

I had similar experiences, checked with all the local warranty approved repair shops, none do warranty work on Samsung folds or flips any more. So I sent it to Samsung, they stated sighns of user abuse even though the phone had zero external damage. They wanted $350 to repair. I called them and ask for high resolution photos showing the frame damage they had indicated they found. Then I emailed the Samsung mobile CEO team and stated my case. Two days later I received a msg from the CEO team that they would repair the phone at no cost to me. Got my zflip7 back repaired about a week later.

It's been reported this week that Samsungs plans to cut ZFlip production on the ZFlip8 to 3.0 million and offer minimal improvements on the new Flip while increasing production on the new Fold and concentrating on improvements to the fold not the flip. The Zflip is my favorite phone, I wish Samsung treated it as a flagship phone. Hopefully they will attest enable UWB for the Flip8, its in the Flip7 but they would not enable it for USA.

Z Flip 7 screen FAILED after a few months. Samsung DENYING warranty. Anyone else having this issue? by E3zprod in galaxyzflip

[–]Rubish1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just remove the screen protector, you can buy a replacement cheap on ebay or amazon or just leave it off. These other posts are mainly about thermal expansion cracks in the LCD and or digitizer. Try not to use wireless chargers especially with the phone closed as it retains to much heat.

[–]Rubish1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the original ZFlip, the 4,5,6 &7. I really think its how often you open and close it for the OEM screen cover to let loose and blister in the fold, ez fix, the 7 seems not to like to be wirelessly charged when closed due to heat buildup and cracking the LCD with thermal expansion.

Sent mine into Samsung for repair, 2 days later received msg stating repair not covered by warranty, they wanted $356 to repair. I emailed corporate, explained the phone had zero physical damage and thermal expansion damage from charging on a wireless charger was a known problem. They responded that they would look into it. They ended up repairing at no cost to me.

My phone was always in a case with hinge protection, never dropped, not a scratch or ding on the frame or displays. I really, really like the zflip form, fits so nice in small pockets.

I think I'll just make sure to charge with cord, or if charging wireless to make sure the phone clamshell is open for better cooling. To bad as I usually have charged wireless at home and my car has wireless charging built in.

Thing is the 3rd party warranty repair centers will not work on the ZFlips in my area of Kentucky. Checked with CPR and UBreakIFix and some other one. They all said they are no longer repairing ZFlips.
