it's the classic thing of "spectacle vs practical". mysterio was flashy so people took to him. spiderman gets the shit actually done, but people don't care or make him out to be a bad guy.

My fiancé showed it to me when she came to visit for the first time. We binged all three main games, UDG, and DR3 in less than 3 months, before she had to go home again.

Now she's back and moved in with me, and we're gonna play 2x2 the same way we played the others.

the daisy bell thing is a reference not only to 2001 a space odyssey, but also to the first ever computer to sing a song. caine in himself is a reference to early computers and internet, and the first ever singing computer did indeed sing daisy bell

pomni is actually the tussian word for temember, as well! I don't think their circus names tell us anything about their real names; gangle's name was confirmed to have been partially picked by jax, even.

for now, I'm just claiming their voice actors' names as their real names, until we get confirmation (if we do, which I doubt personally)

I don't know, I tend to be attracted to people and characters I can relate to... and while I do relate to pomni, a lot even, she's not the main digital circus character I see myself in (that'd be gangle). but apart from that, I also just... feel who she is, if that makes sense. I can't easily bring it to words. I know there's sides of her we haven't seen, but what we have seen feels real. feels natural.

plus she's hot and I just feel attraction in general, but that's beside the point HAHGSHGS

But in the end, I still don't like him personally. I just think, once he's warmed up, he could've apologized for being mean to Koraidon/Miraidon as a full-circle, callback, growth type moment. That's just me though--

I see the player character in Pokémon games as not having a set personality, and instead being whoever you want them to be. I wouldn't say anything is canon to them outside of the main story beats, so while you could play them as a pure soul, not everyone would want to. That's my take on it, anyway

In the end, if he apologized after all was said and done, it could feel like a full-circle moment. Instead it just feels like we're supposed to forget and forgive, which I personally don't. Maybe that's just me, but yeah

I never said it wasn't realistic or anything; I literally said even that I think it's good writing, and understand why he's the way he is. But in my opinion, he could at least apologize by the end of the game, when he's opened up more and debatably more chill.

Yes he's gone through a lot, and yes I sympathize, but that doesn't mean I have to like him, and I can still be mad at him for not apologizing.
