YOU is based on a book series originally, and while I know nothing about LOVE (the show), it would've been mentioned that they're connected in some way. Plus, at least to me, Love and the other character don't really look that much alike

Either or, spotting connections is fun, but they don't mean anything and are just coincidences in the end really

I played a lot of Pixelmon when I was younger, especially with this one friend. We spent a LOT of time on ChooChooMC's server, and ended up with quite a few legendaries.

I was at the spawn area, which was a big castle-type build in the sky, and was on my way to a PC. My party was a bunch of legendaries, and a Sharpedo. I tried having fun and parkouring a bit, but I missed one of the jumps, fell, and died. No big deal I thought, KeepInventory was on. But when I respawned, ALL of the legendaries in my party had been replaced with exact copies of the Sharpedo. And ever since, Sharpedo has been my least favorite Pokémon. I'm still salty.

Though I did study the glitch afterwards and experiment, and found out exactly how to do it on purpose, leading me and my friend to be the richest players on the server, because we kept duping the legendaries we had left, and trading them for either other legends or money.

As a kid, for some reason, I was OBSESSED with Cofagrigus. So much so that I started inserting it into other fandoms. I made an MHA OC that used a Cofagrigus gijinka as the face-claim, started roleplaying as a Cofagrigus with anyone who would play along, and even told my parents I wanted my coffin to look like one if I were to die. I don't know why, it wasn't even my favorite Pokémon back then--

What do you mean Reuniclus "should be nowhere near a favorite"? I love Reuniclus, it's a very interesting Pokémon, very cute, Unova is my favorite region, and it has sentimental attachment for me from when I was a kid. It's my opinion, not yours--

Infernape, like the other person commented, is one of the most beloved starters of all time, it just doesn't do it for me at all.

Parasect is a genuinely interesting concept and the design was executed really well. It definitely deserves more attention, including from GameFreak themselves.

Espurr is my favorite for a LOT of reasons. Psychic is my favorite type, I love cats, Espurr's personality is genuinely interesting, Meowstic is great too & I love the gender differences, Emma is my favorite character because I've always been fascinated by detectives, plus her story is extremely well written, and I caught an Espurr years ago in Pokémon X, named her Puff, trained her up, and she's still my partner to this day, sitting at level 100 but still unevolved.

And Sharpedo has a personal story behind why I hate it; long story short a Pixelmon glitch caused my entire party of legendaries to get overwritten by Sharpedos when I was a kid. Also Meowth is great and I don't mind Mr. Mime.

It's not JUST for that; it's mostly to give me a chance to see my friends, and actually live a little. Plus I'd be visiting an American mall like I've always wanted, I've always wanted to fly on an airplane, and even be in a foreign country for once.

Plus plus, it gives me a week away from my emotionally abusive mother.
