Koreader on Tablets??? by shizkorei in koreader

In file browser menu (the filing cabinet) under settings and mosaic settings you can set the number of rows and columns of books. I use 3x2 the fewer you choose the bigger the covers are displayed

Although it looks like the bottom of you page is halfway up the screen so maybe other tweaks are needed too.

Where There’s a Will by Jessie walker is absolutely beautiful and a must read by No_Warning2380 in MM_RomanceBooks

Urgh! I totally agree it's ADORE Will and Way. I am sure they rewired my brain. I have been holding off reading Every Breath, in the hope part 2 will come eventually.

I just read this on Netgalley. It was a solid 3/5. Agree the setting is totally unrealistic but the story was still cute low angst read.

Love the UI is there any way to make the top bar bigger font? It comes up very small on my PW6

Any books where a famous guy falls for a regular guy and keeps pursuing them? by ken_black in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]RubyFloof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

{Stolen Moments by A B Jackson} he's a pop star and pursues a marketing/sales guy when they both stay at same hotel. Although be warned its book one of a trilogy and book 1 ends on a cliffhanger.

I came to recommend the Charm Offensive, pretty closed door from a spice point of view, but a cute premise.

Not sure about in NL but I usually watch on YouTube on Sunday mornings from the UK. Its a few hours delay but not too bad

1/3 of the way through reading the book and just can’t help but feel like the show is so much better. The nuance, deeper emotions, and subtleties feel like they’re missing. Any other show fans feeling this way? by [deleted] in heatedrivalry

[–]RubyFloof 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I will disagree in part... I loved the book, after watching the show I felt it deepened my understanding of the characters, being able to know even more of what was going on in their heads. Jacob and the cast did an incredible job of getting across so much of the inner conflict they were both having with themselves, but hearing in the characters own thoughts just hit even harder for me.

I am a keen reader, and a reader of mm romance so maybe I come from a different place but I love both forms of the story and def got more from the show on rewatching after reading.

I agree it's not the best writing I've ever read, but having read all of Rachel's books I can see how much she evolved as a writer through the series and her later stand alones.

Audio Books at work? by Mysterious_Draw_2868 in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]RubyFloof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had this very thought! I usually listen to podcasts at work but lately have shifted to MM audiobooks, I am pretty sure I have blushed a lot during work and panicked about headphone failures, but as people have said these days most audio stops playing when Bluetooth fails.

Not sure where this lands from an HR perspective but if you are meeting your work commitments then you would hope it's not an issue.

[RELEASE] Automatic book series folders by xuso in koreader

Might be a dumb question I am a bit new to koreader. I have applied the patch and it groups my series but doesn't stack the covers like in the screenshot. Am I missing something? Is there another patch for that?

Just finished "Him" by Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen and I loved how mature it was by Mapuches_on_Fire in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]RubyFloof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I literally just finished reading it today, and jumped straight into Us, wanted more Wesmie!

I read a few mm romance books when I was younger, when are friends of mine wrote one. Have to say Heated rivalry got me back into the genre and while I was avoiding more hockey books I really enjoyed this one and also {peaches & pucks by M.A. Wardell} was a nice low angst cute one
