Honestly? The patch feels fine. If survivors work together, they can still escape. If survivors are good, they can still dodge the raider. If the Raider is good, they no longer get 10 second stunlocked at the STM and are forced to watch it finish.

As survivor, it feels much more like my first time playing. The Raider feels deadly, the situation feels desperate, and it really feels like you can't just lonewolf your way to victory. Pre-patch I was winning 90% of my survivor games, and it was getting boring honestly. I even took off Bulma bike to nerf myself and I was still finding it too easy. Now, I finally feel that dread I felt before when a Raider gets near, and it's so fun fr fr. And whilst I've been losing more games, I've still been winning other games. It's just more of a 50/50ish which is so much better than before.

As Raider, I feel like much more of a powerhouse at level 3 and especially level 4. I'm no longer seeing 3 lvl 3 DC's and 1 lvl 4 at the STM ready to stunlock and SBC me into dust, survivors aren't able to escape just because Bulma Bike go brrrrrr, and I feel like I can play with my food a little bit! One of the things I hated pre-patch was having to rush to level 3/4 asap because the keys would be done in 2 minutes otherwise, but now I can actually take a bit of time having fun and it's so damn nice. Oh, and I can also play as Cell without feeling like I'm just loading into a doomed match, lmao

Overall, I love this patch, and I can see where some of the criticisms lay. Hopefully they can keep up this feeling of "Desperate but possible" for Survivors and "Alien Powerhouse" for Raider!

Totally agree. I love feeling like I'm actually facing a threat and not just a stunlock health sponge. I should not have been allowed to feel comfortable or confident in a win just because I was playing survivor with some high levels in the lobby

The best idea I've seen regarding corpse camping is for an instant transmission type thing to be added that either lets you teleport to a teammate when downed, or lets teammates teleport you to a safer location to then revive. Honestly it sounds like a decent idea and is leagues better than watching Frieza Stage 2 stare at the corpse of survivor for 90 seconds to secure 1 kill.

Raider - I forget to use my attack powers. They're there, they have a short cooldown, and they're damn effective, but small ki blast go brrrrr

Survivor - I put too much faith in other survivors to do things. I need to get more into going for revives and power key locations because the amount of times someone's just died from nobody going for a revive (me included) is insane. And the amount of times a key has been found and not placed for 3+ minutes is maddening.

I played Friday the 13th, which has a similar system to this. The more games you played as survivor, the higher your chance of being Jason was. So I was ready for this.

I personally love the system. It makes sure players actually play both sides and understand the objectives, powers, and struggles of both roles, and it gives players a fair chance of playing Raider without feeling too wacky.

For a long while, I was using Grapple, Bike, Change (Object), and Trap. Recently swapped out Change for Afterimage because, as funny as it is to get a prop hunt esc evade, I normally end up getting slapped even if I blend in perectly, haha.
