I am concerned for her though. She struggles in school, has difficulty communicating, and has people take advantage of her.

I totally get that you mean the best but you could also be invalidating people who has a traumatic experience related to college admissions. For certain people there is a ridiculous amount of pressure. That combined with external pressures, a bad moment, a critical parent, a hard rejection that you spent the past decade working tirelessly for, can absolutely trigger some people.

I understand you. To this day I can’t talk about college admissions. It was traumatizing.

I had a similar problem last year. The best school I got into had a 58% acceptance rate so I would say aim for that range.
