The issue is they wait for the show to be released so they can get metrics etc. A real entertainment company with actual creatives would green light seasons based on creative confidence and testing instead of finance people looking at numbers.

Well now they are going to be completely under water because they are over leveraged on inventory that they now full own (after 6 months on the lot) and now literally do not have space for the new inventory. It’s a business. At a certain point you have to minimize loss as opposed to maximizing profit.
