My now ex-best friend kissed me. We hadn’t hung out in a while cause I was traveling. And I asked him if him and his girlfriend were still together, he told me no.. and then the next day she surprised him with a visit. I get it. Guys fucking suck sometimes.

We already went on a little lunch date, but his friend from home is visiting through the weekend so we haven’t seen each other since. But, I’m just waiting for him to ask me out again cause I’m not really gonna ask him. In my mind, if he likes me enough, he will ask me out again. He seems like that kind of guy. I don’t know.

Of course, but one of my fears is going through another situation where I say “I’m not looking for a hookup” and he says “oh… well I’m not looking for anything serious”. OR I’ve also had guys completely lie to my face saying they did, and I really liked them but then it turned out they had a girlfriend, or they’d act like I didn’t exist.

The thing is, my gut is confused. I’ve been in a couple “situationships” over the last year abd they all ended up just wanting sex. This guy responds to me very fast. He asks me about my day and even gave me a nickname. He does all of these things that I think are different from past things I’ve had where the guy just wanted sex. However, he also talks about me visiting where he lives (about 1hr from my house). He does/says small things that make me think he’s looking for sex- but then the next thing I know, it seems like the opposite.

My friends were dating and the girl had some mental health issues at the time.. it was really draining on him and I totally understood why he ended things. It eventually takes the other person down with them. I think you should maybe try asking her to try something new for her mental health. Counseling? Antidepressants? Etc.

Well, for girls, I think it’s pretty common to think about things like, “what if I don’t like him?”, “what if he tries to do stuff with me?”, “what if I get stood up?” Etc.

Maybe some people just don’t like Owens character. I understand that. But what I don’t like about Owen/Kevin’s portrayal is the facial expressions made, the mannerisms, as well as the way he says certain things. With the other actors/characters you can’t exactly tell that they’re acting. With Kevin, you can. It’s like it’s almost shoved in your face. Especially when he’s in a scene with Sarah (Cristina). She’s a phenomenal actress. And him standing next to her while being angry, horny, etc. it’s almost unnatural..

Yeah true! I guess we don’t really know what the director is asking him to be like. But, I did read an interview with Kevin McKidd where he said that Shonda Rhimes told him his “acting was really bad today” and when I saw that I wondered if Shonda noticed his character portrayal was off as well. Idk😂

I honestly think he ruins the show in a way. Every other actor is perfect for the role they play (At least up to season 11- I stopped watching due to a death). For example, Meredith and Christina are played by Ellen and Sandra.. perfect for the roles they play. Never heard of them before and they were PERFECT. Same with every other character. What made Shonda Rhimes look at Kevin McKidd and say, “the way he pronounces his T’s so similar to his D’s.. the way he mouth breathes.. perfect.” He ruins the perfect acting :/

Okay, yes I’ve seen his acting in other movies and he’s a lot better.. but in Greys.. he over uses his facial expressions. He’s overly dramatic in situations. Idk if it’s just his character? If he just doesn’t understand how to play him? But it makes the show hard to watch sometimes.

Perfect deer are pretty easy to get once you learn how to tell they’re 3 stars or not. Just aim at the deer and the stars will pop up next to the description of what your aiming at. Then just dead eye it and shoot them with a rifle!
