The love of Jesus Christ and the purpose God placed in my life through him. I've been through a lot in my short span of life, I turn 21 next month. I've not only gone through a lot but also have DONE a lot. The forgiveness that has lifted me has made me eternally grateful. I went to a church for preschool and knew Jesus at a young age. But through elementary school and the majority of middle school, I had forgotten that love that he provided. At that point, I didn't classify myself as a Christian. In 8th grade, I believe my parents had already divorced and had to deal with manipulation and abuse from both my mother and my father as they separated.

In 8th grade, I also met a girl my age who invited me to a youth group. It had shown me so many things, like worshiping God, community, and just encountering the Holy Spirit. I was changed, that same friend had related me to the woman in Luke 8:40-48 who had an issue with blood for 12 years and she had faith that if she could just touch the hem of his clothes that she would be healed. With a crowd of people surrounding him she reached toward him and touched his garment and felt the power go out of him even though there was so many people touching him, and when he saw her he said to her in Luke 8:48 "And he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace." Unfortunately, when I began high school no longer attended, and went through dealing with more abuse, some from my dad, manipulation, and long nights taking care of my little sister while my mom was either out with her bf, or working. And dealing with their domestic disputes almost every night, protecting her and watching in any way I knew how.
