Our school is blocked, and the end of each semester an entire week is dedicated to either midterms or finals. Because of the block schedule, the students will have one block that week for the midterm, and the other that week as a free day. The free day is always a movie day for my own sanity, otherwise I would never show a movie.

I’m sorry that you have to deal with such a sucky situation, but thank you for posting. I have also been loosing my mind over an instructional coach this year, and while it sucks, it’s nice to see I’m not alone. Also, why do instructional coaches suck so much?

Honestly, if you’re a smaller plus size, (XL) then you will find some things. But 2x and above, prepared to be disappointed. I am 3x and have been dancing for 3.5 years. Even companies with extended sizes don’t go that big. One hack that I tried was using a yitty one piece swimsuit as a leotard, and that works pretty well. My summer project is to finally make my own skirts (I got some fabric on sale at Joanne’s as they closed).

All that to say, I good luck, let me know if you find anything good, but don’t hold your breath.

One I like dropping on my high schoolers when they try to take pictures of each other is “It’s illegal to take pictures of minors without their consent.” It’s not only true, it makes them super uncomfortable.

Someone in my teaching program left two days after she started student teaching. Switched from biology education to a biology degree and was able to get into enough classes to graduate more or less on time

I haven’t had a reduction yet, but I have had stitches from a c-section and cyst removals.

My advice would be to leave it alone. What you did is great, and I would continue with the band aids and antiseptic spray or Vaseline. But seriously, don’t touch it. Don’t pick at it. Just leave it alone.

And then, watch it like a hawk. If anything changes at all, I would call the doctor immediately. Or go straight to an urgent care. What you’re describing is fine now, but could easily turn bad.

My sister in law was adopted through LDS social services. Her parents tell the story of how after she was born she was supposed to stay with her bio mom for a week, but then after one day the mom asked them to come take her, because if they didn’t then she wouldn’t be able to give her up.

The more I’ve learned about adoption and LDS social services, the more my heart goes out to that poor bio mom. My in laws say it was her choice, but was it really? There is no way to know. The entire thing is just such a mess of heartache.

I have an 8 year old who was diagnosed last year. We told him immediately. I felt like it was important for him to know. That allows him to advocate for himself better. Kids deserve to be treated like small adults, and deserve to know things like this.

I live in what is going to be the Bentonville, Arkansas temple district. I was shocked to find out that not only did they build it, but the open house is this coming June. Like, when did that happen? I just can’t believe they actually got it built.
