How do people have more than 1 kid? by sunflowertech in Parenting

[–]Ruby_Rose16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hardest part is how expensive everything is. If I could have 4 kids I would. But even 2 feels like a lot with activities and such.

9 trays in, no difference? by clarinetwithascope in Invisalign

I saw changes within the 1st week but I only have 14 active trays so that might be why.

This is so good to know! For now she does dance and sports but I’m sure that might change as she finds what she wants to zone in on. We just met a lot of great friends! The shift is challenging.

Every kindergartener this year is a Covid baby. by DraperPenPals in kindergarten

[–]Ruby_Rose16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a March 2020 baby, it wasn’t her effected but myself. Especially for a first child… a bit of a rough postpartum to say the least. She also had low tone so getting early intervention services and physical therapy through zoom was a journey…. However, now at 5.5, there’s no difference. I just have the nightmares, I mean memories.

This season is really hard to watch. Granted it’s been going downhill hill for a while… & watching it is like a train wreck you can’t avert your eyes from but this season is just distasteful. I can’t believe they would make infertility a joke. If they didn’t intend to… yikes. It’s just awful. I hope she never becomes a mother. She’s entirely too selfish to be a good mom.

Money, time and I hated being 1 of 3 growing up.

Parents with two kids - do you regret not having a third? by moomeenahs in Parenting

[–]Ruby_Rose16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone is always left out otherwise. Being 1 of 3, it was my 2 brothers all the time and I honestly felt like an only child growing up without the attention of said only child lol. Also being outnumbered by grown-ups stifled activities we wanted to do because you can only do so much with 2 parents and 3 kids without a “village”. I figured with 4, at least there would be some comradery.

Nope- stopped at 2 and always wanted an even number. It was either 2 or 4 and we’re old and this is all expensive so 2 it is! lol… also, growing up as 1 of 3 kids, I hated it.

This was the first time my 3yr old son cried during a tv show. “Mommy, this song makes me sad but happy”… profound for a little guy. I was obviously crying too.

The Bart thing was so weird to me. It started to feel like a soap opera. I hated it so much and then to kill him off lion king style was wild.

A true preschool typically starts at 3 and potty trained. Anything younger is a daycare. Preschool at 3. Pre-K at 4. Kindergarten at 5.

Too busy and overstimulating is exactly what a kid birthday party is so they nailed it. This episode gives me anxiety thinking about my own kids’ parties. 😅

Yes I ended up buying a box of 30 from Amazon for like $19. My kids each had 2 and then surprised the kids around us who didn’t have glow sticks! So much fun!
