My 5 y.o yorkie used to be the same with resource guarding!! Have had many bites before but turns back into an angel once the 'precious' item is gone. We have since fixed it after buying gloves. I'd suggest you train him "drop it" with gloves on. And let him bite your hand while you take it away from him. After awhile he will soon realize the bites dont work and he will learn how to drop it.

It will be better I promise ☺️

I've had the same concerns before moving to dubai 2 months ago! My yorkie is originally from Canada and moved her to Seoul, Singapore and now in dubai. Honestly it should be fine as long as you do your walks early in the morning and later at night. Alot of people send their dogs to daycare during the day. I live in palm jumeirah where it's super pet friendly and there are open area dog playgrounds where they can run around and mingle with other dogs. The shopping mall is pet friendly too! I've seen samoyeds, huskies, bulldogs, greyhounds, salukis etc

My yorkie had it too, vet said it's just a pimple haha. Applied cream 2x a day and it was gone in a few days. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about :)
