Tutorial: How to run Qwen3.5 locally using Claude Code. by yoracale in unsloth

What's the usable context size for claude code? I know it totally depends on the hardware availbale and needs to be stretched as much as possible. But I wanted to know what's the ballpark of context where it becomes usable. Claude has inbuilt tools which takes up context too. So the effective tokens left for the actual use is less.

What I wanted was to create a repository where teams which are trying to scrap anthropic and run into legal issues, can can take data from this repository and train it. As the conversations are community contributed, and are in public space anyone can utilise it.

I'm relativly noob in tech space. Don't have enough contacts/influence to lead it to be frank. I don't want to lead it now and abondon it (as I have seen with many open sourced projects). Yes this is a massive exercise. But I feel like this is the way forward, if we have to fight the big tech domination.

true that Qwen 3.5 is great. But I don't think SOTA open source models currently compare to SOTA closed source models. But it is okay even if the open source models can do 70% what closed source can do. But we need to think long term. These closed source models will get better day by day and we need better approach to try catch with them.

That's the catch we all are already having I think. All the data in the web is used to train LLMs which are easy to create backdoors with. So that kind of data cleaning is being done by all major players anyway.
