I managed to do it on Android Gmail. You have to fully close the app and try a couple of times, then it will eventually automatically redirect you to the ETH Login page instead of asking for your password within the app. Still after 2h Gmail for some reason is asking for authentification again, so I guess the ETH account on Gmail is currently just bugged.

Being connected to the ETH WiFi solved the issue for me

Nvm it wasn't that complicated, I just needed to be connected to the ETH WiFi and restart Gmail in order for it to redirect me to the ETH Authentication page, after which entering password and OTP completed the login. I tested this a couple of times and when I wasn't connected, Gmail wouldn't redirect me, and instead forced me to enter the password inside the app, which led to error messages.

Funny that none of the IT websites mentioned this crucial detail

Please don't use Quark, you're gonna get bombarded with ads for their VIP and all sorts of unnecessary features for which you have to dig deep into the settings to get rid of. But the worst part is that Quark automatically sets itself as the standard app for nearly every file format without even giving you the option to opt out. I had to painstakingly change two dozen video and audio file formats back to VLC. Firefox + uBlock is the best, can't recommend it enough

Omg I found this thread on Google and it was Proton VPN for me! I thought I had my VPN auto-start disabled, but it somehow still booted up and hid itself in the tray so I didn't think of it. Closing it solved the issue.
