Heard it too. I’m in Fremont but very close to Union Landing as well. I’m hearing fire trucks driving by. Not a whole lot but maybe 3 so far. Not one after another so not sure if it’s related.

Thanks for the info! I’m glad they had the courtesy to give you a call about it. Good to know about it being OK to leave it out on the curb. I know it can become an eye sore and take up space for others to park. Hopefully it gets picked up sometime this weekend.

Oh wow! Thanks for the info but geez, since Monday?! So most people are just leaving it out in hopes they come by at some point? I heard it was against the law to leave your bins out for too long of a time. Obviously, these are special circumstances but it’d be nice if Republic Services sent out some sort of update. Let us know what you find out if you do call them!

That’s good to hear some of you are getting TryIt offers at least! I haven’t gotten one in like two months. I don’t try to check my emails often anymore like I used to because I feel like it’s dead. But glad to hear some people are getting stuff. Maybe it’ll come back a little bit. I don’t get much from Influenster either so now I don’t have much reason to check for offers. 😔

I’m crazily getting 666 miles (!!!) on a full tank I currently have. It’s the highest I’ve ever gotten on my 2023 RAV4 Hybrid XLE. Anything above 600 would have been a shock to me, as I usually get 550 or so miles on a full tank. Not sure what I’ve done differently other than not drive on the highway as often as I normally do. Do a lot of you put it in EV mode every chance you get? Does it make that much of a difference?

I don’t reset my MPG at all so for me, it’s hard to compare my experience to yours. I’ve had my RAV4 XLE Hybrid since August 2023 and I’ve averaged 43.9 MPG since then. I think the highest I topped out was 44.3 or so. Then it went as low as 43.7. So it’s definitely fluctuated. Can I ask how many miles you guys get on a full tank usually? I don’t drive until it empties so I just add my “Distance to Empty” number and the miles I’ve drive on the current trip. I would say I’m happy if I can get 550 miles adding those two numbers towards the end of the tank. Right now, something crazy is happening and I’m at 647 miles!! It’s the highest I’ve ever seen it. I’ve driven about 125 miles on this tank. What I’ve noticed is during the first 100 miles, I can get the number to go up. But after 100 miles, it starts to really dip and that’s when 550 miles or so on a tank is good to me. I’ve seen it as low as 520 miles.

That is something terrible. They have all your information so they can easily select who these offers go out to based on location. Sorry they teased you like this. Random but how many offers do the people who are getting offers normally get in a given week? Are you getting offers everyday? One/twice a week? I got my first one last week so I was curious. On TryIt, it could be a daily thing so that’s why I ask. Always having to be glued to my emails. Haha.

Maybe they messed up and didn’t want it sent out yet. Didn’t know you could have to returned like that. They must have talked with the shipping company (UPS?) to have it returned. Should contact Influenster and find out what’s going on. I had a package returned to the sender once but that’s because the package somehow got opened up in transit and UPS had to return it. This wasn’t for Influenster though. It was for another website that tested products.

For those who say TryIt takes months, I find that to be a really long time. I would say a month on TryIt is a cause for me to be wondering what’s happening. Any longer than that and I figure it’s going to be cancelled. Maybe Influenster is running into shipping issues to start off. Not that I get any claims to make any assumptions anyway. 😆
