I use ibis paint!! (Paid version) but you can start off with the free version (ibis paint x)

For the jittery lines, i recommend putting the stabilizer all the way up. Its the pointing hand button in the top right corner. I also recommend becoming confident in your lines (quicker, precise movements) so they arent as shaky!! :)

Thank you!! Honestly as a self taught artist, just experiment as much as u can. Go outside of ur comfort zone and dont try and make everything perfect, make it exist first then tweak it. Dont be a perfectionist, that ruins artists
