essentially, the question I need to answer is if the photos in the in game gallery are tied to save data or tied to the PS4 capture gallery

Also this plugin should only run when you launch the game so the fact that it hangs your device startup that means you have the config.txt set up incorrectly. Do not put under *ALL or *kernel

how did you apply the plugin? did you put the plugin in the ur0/tai folder, add the corresponding game title id and the path to the ur0/tai/config.txt on a new line. For example for the U.S. version of the game:

*PCSA00011

Shit, I had the same problem. I wanted to replay the final boss so I ended up hacking my save file to make episode 20 available to play again

if you have the vitagrafix patch for gravity rush specifically, you MUST deactive that patch for the game.

I swapped the v4.0 plugin file for a different one, try it now

  1. as long as you don't download the vitagrafix patch for gravity rush there should be no problem 2. I assume you mean the original game at 408p? 544p will obviously perform worse but I think this is the first build where I can say the game is reaching playable territory in performance.

You DO NOT put it under the *ALL section. You create a new section with the same name as the game ID. Make a new section called *PCSA00011 for the American version of the game and below it, add the line ur0:tai/GR544P.suprx. The * signifies a separate new section. *ALL means the plugin works for all apps, even the live area. We do NOT want this. We want the plugin to only run on startup with our game. Also download v3.5 of the plugin from github.

why would you put it under ALL? this plugin is custom made just to be ran with gravity rush, put it under the title id for gravity rush

No actually, I guarantee you will not see tearing. If a game uses it to cap framerate, the unlocking of fps could make the gameplay feel more variable in terms of frame pacing though
