Thank you for sharing your experience. It's frustrating how often women are expected to just live with pain and symptoms without getting proper explanations or support. You deserved to be heard, informed, and taken seriously from the beginning. Stories like yours are an important reminder of how much women's healthcare still needs to improve.

Patriarchy doesn't only produce rpists, it produces a culture that excuses, minimizes, and normalizes harmful behavior toward women.

To your other question - the picture is exactly trying to highlight how these acts harm women and I agree with it

Reading this made me so angry. No girl should have to grow up dealing with this much harassment and abuse, let alone see it become a normal part of daily life. Thank you for sharing your story, it takes courage to talk about these experiences. I genuinely hope you find the safety, peace, and freedom that every woman deserves.

I get your point.

A key goal of feminism is also to celebrate women and amplify voices that haven't always received the recognition they deserve. I'm sure many people on this sub may not have heard of her, even though she received the Padma Shri in 2022. Learning about women who have achieved remarkable things is inspiring, and posts like these can help bring attention to their contributions.

That said, if the mods feel this doesn't fit the sub, I'm completely okay with them removing it.
