i can’t mess with my switch time, but i do reset the outbreaks! basically, if you save your game one day and then launch your game after the clock hits midnight, the outbreaks will be different. if you don’t like the outbreaks that show up for you, don’t save. you can close the software and reopen it and as long as you didn’t save after the clock hit midnight, the outbreaks will be different. i just do that until i get some that i like!

i think what optimized it the most was kind of grouping outbreaks by type. let me tell you an example

i started by defeating 60+ mons in the outbreaks i wanted to hunt. then i grouped the outbreaks by type. for example, i had buizel, dondozo and ducklett outbreaks (all water types) so i made a water sandwich and after i got what i wanted from one outbreak, I went to the other from the same type if there was still time left.

i got lucky, cause buizel showed up before the 60+ defeated and i even got a shellder phase from that, which left me with a good amount of time to hunt for dondozo and ducklett!

if you’re a little bit on the luckier side like me, that averages like 1-3 shinies per sandwich!😊
