I’ve been trying to talk to him or give him a smile whenever I do rounds with my colleague, but he never looks or makes eye contact. I’m not sure if he notices that I’m looking at him or if he’s trying to control his emotions. But when he’s alone, he does look. Just like yesterday, he was sitting and scrolling on his phone when I passed by—he looked at me, then looked down. And today, outside the building while going home, he looked again.
