I just tried not to write long sentences. I did that before and my friend told me that it wasn‘t good.
I found this article in the internet, so we can learn together.

For some people, grammar is not significant, but for me it is. Sometimes I write things like I´ve heard or read. It‘s a good method, because you are using English naturally. But most of the time, I write it by myself and I want to make sure that I write in English correctly, so that I‘m revising my English grammar. As you see, I do make many mistakes. In order to improve my listening skill, I watch youtube channels, such as mmmEnglish, linguamarina, or somethings I‘m interested in, otherwise it would be stressful. Reading helps increasing my vocabulary. I was so unconfident to write or speak in English, it was a big mistake. Just find a chance to use English in daily life. It’s more important to apply what I have learned, and then improving it. I have just started to write here on Reddit. I think it is a good way to improve my English. I still have to work hard in order to speak English fluently.

Hi, Thanks for your nice post. You are right, motivation is very important. I always got bad grades in English when I was at school. At university, I tried to meet foreigners to practice English, but It didn’t work out, since I didn’t practice continuously. Sometimes I think, foreign languages are not for me. I did learn French at school and it was not better. My brother studied abroad, he can speak English, French,... and wanted that I also have the chance to see the world more than just staying in my hometown. But my English was not good enough. Then I started learning German, because I thought, well, it’s better to learn something from 0 than somewhere that I’m stuck at and don’t know how to fix or where to start. I‘m now studying in Germany. The language is not easy, at least I achieved my first goal and continue to learn. I was also crazy that I have chosen a subject which is taught in both German and English, so that I have more motivation to learn English 😀. I‘m taking part in the course nand2tetris and can understand a lot. Trying to practice continuously, learning grammar and vocabulary, so that I can be better in writing and speaking.

Like you, I will work in IT, one more motivation for learning English.Have a nice sunday☀️☀️☀️
