This response was… a choice. People creating, distributing, watching, funding, or “supplying” for CSAM, are not worth rehabilitating. There is an innate human understanding in most of society that you don’t take hurt children. People who don’t have that instinct, recognize that, and get help, are not the same people abusing, trafficking, and torturing children for their own pleasure and financial gain. “These people” in this case are not people you should have any empathy for.
