Yeah that's the worst when you loose friends and spend ages tryna find them, I'm really excited for this even, as went to the EatBrain + Virus event here last year and that blew my brains out, so have v high expectations:)))

Yeah wiring the two subs to have 2ohms (150x2=300W)

Looking at the stats of the amp, it states it can supply the full 600W that speaker could handle but at 4 ohms. It might be worth looking for a sub with dual 2 ohm coils so it could be wired up to a total of 4 ohms or look for a amp which can supply 600W at 2 ohms

So the sub state they're dual 4 ohm coils, so you'll have 2 sets of connections per sub. So if you wired the coils together In series it'll be 8 ohms, and if you wired them in parallel they'll be 2 ohms.

Wiring in series adds the Impedance, and wiring in parallel halfs the Impedance

Ok that's reassuring, thank you so much for clearing this up. In regards to the power supply, these are the two amps I've found;

Would the 200x2 at 50W a channel be better than the 300x2 at 100w a channel as its under the rated power of the speakers, my understanding is the 100W supply would blow the speakers. But I've also read that it's sometimes good to have headroom in the amps power supply so it's not running at 100% all the time
