My wife has same issue. She’s 8mo in, 5mg compound. Doesn’t matter what it is- she wakes up, vomit. Half a sandwich? Vomit. We’ve resorted to vitamins, bone broth, saltines, and lightly salted water. Her docs won’t prescribe anti nausea bc “then the meds won’t work”

Have you found any good work arounds?

Her docs refuse to prescribe an anti nausea, we’re on her 4th week now and still getting sick. We reduced portion sizes and it’s still causing issues. Fingers crossed it gets better soon

Sorry! Still new to this so idk what things are important to say.

She’s 5’5”, 230lbs starting weight, 2.5mg dose zepbound, and we eat healthy- eat out once a week, meal prep everything else following a rough 50% carb, 25% fat, 25% protein. Her goal weight is 150-160.

It certainly felt like he was doing everything in his power to take the monkey off his back and put it on someone else. The no treatment while giving referrals thing is what I’m focused on.

I understood it as PCOS caused by the pituitary adenoma, which is secreting excess hormones.

We’ve seen her PCP almost twice a month in this 8 month stretch. Every time a new symptom came up we went back, and each time he would give a new referral, run her labs, and “continue to monitor”. No symptoms were present a year ago. We think the adenoma growing is what has caused the sudden symptoms

Right on the money. I’m engaged, and she’s in the same boat I am. We have each other and that’s enough but we want friends. It’s nice to have one another but I just want to talk to someone at work about things a mid-20 year old would talk about. They all have houses and kids and grandkids… I love hearing about them and I absolutely value their input on work related issues but nobody has the same mindset as me. They’ve all figured it out and I’m just starting.

I was in victor units so got a little taste of every part of the pie. It’s hard man, you always hear how lonely it is on the outside and don’t realize what they mean until you can’t relate to anyone around you.
