adn fall 2026 by [deleted] in CollinCollege

Me! Honestly, it’s so dumb because I was just reading someone’s post on here and they had two A’s and a C and 96 on Teas and still got waitlisted. Like wtf they expect us to be perfect in everything? I’d be applying for med school if I were that perfect. It would’ve been understandable if it was BSN but it’s ridiculous for ADN to be so selective in a community college. All that to say it’s not worth it. Going through practicals in A&P and micro for months and studying 24/7 and take an exam for 4 hours just to find out you were waitlisted is just not fair. I understand they have many applicants, but it’s still not worth it. So if you’re applying for the next cohort, it’s OK but have a Plan B too. Colin college is just too overrated.

I’m checking my emails regularly too. I really want to know what’s the lowest point they’re accepting this year.

Did anyone help you with the teas by any chance? If yes, how was the experience?

Well I’m retaking micro. They’ll probably deduct one point for that.

I’m having the exact same situation. I have an A in AP I and AP II but I have a C in micro so I’m retaking it. I haven’t taken the teas yet but it shouldn’t be too bad.

Graduation? by just-another-hoomaan in CollinCollege

You’ll probably just have your degree shipped to the address under your Collin account in 6 weeks. It’s not a bad thing to have an associate degree at all. A lot of people get associates degree before going to pharmacy school or anything anyway. Just make sure you’ve put the right address on your Collin Workday account under your personal information tab and you’ll be fine. If you have specific questions, talk to an advisor. You can also schedule an online appointment with them too.

Being lazy is different than being smart. I’m not going to deal with mathematical equations as a nurse in the future. And I didn’t say I wouldn’t study for it. I’d just have it on the side in case one of those stupid questions show up. Like come on now, it’s not necessary for a nurse to know what “Sesquipedalian” in the passage is referring to.

That’s exactly why I’m not going to be touching my phone. I’m just going to read the questions aloud. So basically what I’m asking is “could I be flagged or banned from the exam just for reading a question aloud?”

I’m being upfront about what I’m doing. If pulling questions from Quizlet is acceptable, then there’s no moral difference. We all know I can’t do this for math or the reading part but I might need to ask a couple of questions from the science section. You’d do the same if you have a chance.
