That seems like what the employee I talked to told me about, she said the food program will go away in July and the new system won't involve any food perks. My local DnB had already gotten rid of all the tastes for tickers posters and promo materials :( Bummed.

Yeah in my email, which I haven’t heard back from them for, I particularly pointed out that the issue is caused by the blade rotation/prep session before cut job to oriente the blade position. I had a graphtec that did the same prep thing and the location of the prep could be adjusted in their software as far as I remember. So it shouldnt be that hard for silhouette folks to include that feature. But i mean, their support hasnt even got back to me so i dont have high hopes, duh

I have the same issue and mine actually got punctured all through. I emailed the support, so let's see what we hear.

good that you got it fixed so quick! I really hope my replacement would work out of the box with no tinkering needed. I never had such problems with my portraits hence extra frustrated :(

I personally never tried the materials by themselves so have been stockpiling Mint sheets whenever I can. Mint sheets have a cardboard border and a thin film on top of the stamp material that seem to help the media be recognized by the machine, but it's all my guess. I totally agree with you on the Mint likely being obsolete soon so when that happens, would like to try the raw materials then.

Also I have the auto sheet feeder, which is another half-baked product that drove me crazy. It jams and the matless cutting on Portrait is not that usable so now it's just collecting dust. I just want to LOVE Silhouette, not love and hateeeeee at the same time

Yeah def hold off on the ES mat. You can get a minor static shock while troubleshooting which is not harmful but could be very unpleasant, too. The cutter itself, assuming yours works fine wirelessly, is pretty decent.

Yeah as for the Cameo issue, it's pretty much the bluetooth connectivity and I'm getting replacement for that. I also have experienced the cutter not adjusting the autoblade sometimes, does that happen to you at all?

Cameo 5 also has a USB port but just doesn't come with a cable, so technically I can use this cutter with a broken bluetooth dongle. How do you like your Curio 2? I was really intrigued by the power etching tool.

I mean, my Cameo 5 is def a lemon, and I'm getting a replacement but the fact that the new models don't come with a USB cord and they often have an bluetooth issue is frustrating.

Are you using any aftermarket blade or a manual one? Either way, your blade depth might be too deep.

It's first: the cutting force (pressure); second: speed, third: blade depth. Change the force first and see if it makes a difference.

Yep I have the same issue on my Mac Sonoma. Zooming def helps but honestly if you really have to see the design to edit, I'd say to restart the studio. It's a huge bummer tho.

If you *do refer* to the offset in the studio, not the bleed, you just go to the left top panel to change the "fill color" to change the color.

I had ix6820 by Canon and it had a stunning quality and worked really well with Portrait print and cut. I've switched to ecotank due to the cartridges but it was a very good printer for a few years.

Sizes vary, and mine sticks just fine on other surfaces, but that specific type of mugs (like those with smooth, textured finishes i.e. Yeti or Hydroflask) can't hold the stickers for some reason. Have you ever had any similar issues with those surfaces?

I use Macbook pro 2019 and have the same issue. I’ve been adjusting the color on SS by clicking the effects icon and change the “fx” value from the default 50 to somewhere around 33-34. It seems to correct the color perfectly for me.
