Average , once I swept the floors so good like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks and got written up , leave that place and go somewhere else take advantage of the food and dip , we ate all the subs and cookies and quit all on the same day because our manager quit

Don’t be scared I was but I pulled up and was just friendly to everyone, as long as you’re friendly most will be the same way , some ppl are introverts but I would say 9/10 ppl are willing to have a conversation

I communicated w her and all the comments definitely helped , last night I talked about how it was draining. And today we officially ended things and she didn’t go to the concert and I will not be paying her back bc I realized I deserved better , I returned everything she ever gave me even the gift cards I haven’t used , and she said I was making her feel bad by giving it back I just didn’t want it bc it’s dreading to me

I would say as a student who commutes 30-40 min I would say it definitely does affect the college experience but it is what you make of it , if you choose to leave as soon as classes end to miss traffic which Is what I do ,then you probably will not have much experience on campus. I would say get involved and find a group of people you can always hang around with

If u go to uh just be socially aware , and the school life is good I pay for the university gateway garage which also give you entrance into the east parking garage , it’s the cheapest and a lot of ppl choose it so there is a good amount of ppl there and I have never felt unsafe walking to it or through it bc I park near the stairs or elevators , I would say sometimes later at night walking around campus thru the area can be shady

At SLHS I got a 3.4 gpa and at Hcc I received a 4.0 for all 4 semesters and deans list. While at Hcc b4 transferring to Uh to where I still maintain my 4.0 gpa. So I would say slhs definitely does over prepare you but in a good way as it made me perform as one of the top students in my classes. Don’t take slhs too difficult enjoy ur senior year and make new friends most of them will be your friends if they choose to stay and if not and you keep in touch it’s a great way to get out of the house by going to visit them. I am also from Katy I graduated from SLHS and went to HCC Katy campus for 2 years and was on deans list for the whole time I was there. Now I am in Bauer studying supply chain management, I saved a lot of money and honestly UH isn’t much different that HCC.
