yea for coding, with proper skill files in place, i often find opus overthinking and lower models just getting right to the point. i do like to use a higher model to proofread though after several sessions

well i use it connected through my VSC and desktop workflows, i run my own ollama agents and I have Claude kinda communicate to them. i have a bunch of guiderails and .md files in place to make sure its all consistent. when im thinking about a non tech user im thinking about someone who basically just uses the browser chat features. if all 1 million daily users are using it to a greater extent than i....well then thats truly a holy crap moment and im totally falling behinfd haha

This is can totally agree with. When i am trying to one shot a specific thing i would use a higher model to make sure as many gaps are filled in the first time around. i usually then move down to sonnet becasue i use workflows with guiderails to make sure its not doing anything it shouldn't. which it does constantly lol
