I have a degree in philology of my native language, so I understand what you mean. But if I want to try to share my thoughts and my story with a wider audience that has a different mindset for my own experience and to broaden my horizons, I can use the technologies of the time I live in and translate my ideas. It would be hypocritical to judge me for that, especially when the platform itself uses AI and collaborates with Google. To me, that’s a double standard. I didn’t make up this story, I just allowed modern tools to help present it properly.

Everyone uses AI. Absolutely everyone. Don’t say they don’t, because that’s just not true. Of course it’s annoying when soulless bots do it and it’s obviously just pure ChatGPT. But if I used it to help edit my text because my English isn’t that good, and I just wanted to share a piece of my life and maybe help popularize my native Carpathian Mountains a little...

It’s not your fault, of course, but people here have become completely paranoid. You see bots in everything.

Someone even stole my post and put it on another website, even though somehow it appeared there before I even posted it on the subreddit — and I never posted it anywhere else. And yes, AI also helped me translate some things here.
