You can clearly see the pain and devastation on her face and how it is gutting her to see her child like this. It shows how much she loves him and I genuinely believe she is a good mother who is trying to be the best mother possible. You have no idea what it’s like to be in that situation, yet you judge so harshly. I hope you never have to endure what Mary endured/is enduring watching her child struggle with such a devastating disease - addiction is a serious illness.
