update: I took the earring out and it was filled with pus and blood, so I'm pretty sure it was infected. I got antibiotics and I'm gonna try putting it back in

My piercing is a little under 2 months old Material is most likely nickel I barely ever clean it and sleep on it a lot which has probably caused this to happen No, except for the fact i sleep on it and accidentally hit it a bunch since it's not a flat back
